We're all better for it. The screens of that thing look horrible, and the Lions Gate version (2 different covers already!) looks better than I thought the movie could. The only reason to have the AB BD is if you're a completest and just have to have it.

Thanks for the warning, I got Kiss of the Dragon and Ford Fairlane before they vanished. Wonder how many others are out there I want. Arg!

Thanks for the tip. I had most of these, but the one title I forgot to grab was Dutch. Grabbed it for $13 shipped from eBay. Also grabbed a used copy of The Scout for $15 shipped.

The Boy in Blue, which I've had in my Amazon cart for ages, jumped from 10 bucks to $199 in the past few days.

I'm guessing it's OOP, and I missed the boat.

Was able to order Monkeybone, Airheads, and License to Drive at MovieMars and Dutch off eBay. I'd been dragging my feet getting these, but I'm not 100% convinced that Fox will have these rereleased ASAP or at all, for that matter.

Always appreciate the heads up this thread provides.

Not that I wouldn't ever recommend someone pick these up -- and I appreciate the heads-up myself -- but these Anchor Bay discs were a huge disappointment. Not sure why but they produced numerous extras for many of them on DVD -- like License to Drive, which was a full-fledged special edition -- and carried NONE of them over to the Blu-Rays. There's some scattered archival stuff, but none of the extras they produced expressly for the DVD releases. I could only imagine it was some kind of licensing issue with Fox or was going to cost them extra to do so, but I've always found it strange.

And THE ENTITY might be one of the worst discs in format history. No menu, no extras -- OK I can live with that. But no chapter stops? Talk about a total lack of effort.
