It's funny that you go to silly superhero movies for the acting.

Yet Heath Ledger won an Oscar for acting in a 'silly superhero movie'

I think it would've been cool if we got a new trailer for Justice League at the end of the credits, exactly like how The First Avenger did it with Avengers but that would be too identical to MCU so *shrug*

Dude, I'm Italian and I watched movies dubbed in Italian for most of my life and even translated a lot of dialogue sounds dumb anyway, that's no excuse unless you are an ignorant yokel who thinks foreigners are stupid by default.
O yeah, I forgot that the average american movie producer probably thinks like that, silly me.

I got passes to one of the advance screenings on Wednesday night. It's first come first served and I haven't gone to one of these preview screenings in many years. If anyone has any recent experience...how early do people start lining up for these things? I was planning to get there at 5:00 for a 7:30 show but now I'm thinking that may not be early enough to guarantee a (good) seat. Thanks for any advice!

I'd recommend getting there at least 90 minutes early. You should be assured of a seat, although it may not be a good one. If you want a good seat, be there 2+ hours in advance. Ultimately it comes down to the theater and the type of screening(2D, 3D IMAX, etc.). But generally they do overbook these things.

For a film like Wonder Woman, I'd get there 2 hours early minimum. When it comes to big blockbuster films, fans will show up ridiculously early to come find theres only 30-40 seats for actual patrons.

For DC films, I've noticed they tend to have less and less available seats for us regular folk at these screenings. For Man of Steel, 250 people showed up and only 37 seats were open. For BVS, 400 people had passes, 40 open seats.

I didn't even bother with Suicide Squad.

Not unless you get there and some moron is in your seat who wants to argue with you over it and has the same seat, same theater, same time, same date, and....wait. Nope; date is different. His showing isn't until tomorrow . True story. (His family was so pissed because it was sold out and there was nothing the theater could do).

Got my tix from Fandango, and they gave me a credit -- no cost. Has this happened to anyone else?

I guess that's one benefit of living in a smaller area. Even for the biggest films, most people don't show up until 20-30 minutes before showtime, so if I get there almost an hour before I'm the only person and can grab a great seat. I only hate then having a longer wait until the movie starts. The Force Awakens was the only movie in 16 years of going to this theater where I still had a line to wait in even an hour early.

I hate the concept of assigned seating, though. If you get stuck next to somebody obnoxious or somebody with kids who can't keep quiet/sit still, you're screwed and can't move anywhere else because you might wind up in a seat reserved for somebody else.

5 is the time I usually start lining up but for this one I suggest 4:30-5, just cause you never know. A lot of the times even if I'm near the front of the line the people in front of me are saving spots for a ton of people.
