Maybe not the best comparison, CDs actually fit in the drive but VHS tapes do not. Also it’s Sony, it should play Betamax, not VHS!

Nit the end of the world just frustrating as I know it shouldn't take that long. And you don't know if you did the trophy or not so not sure if you needed to reset checkpoint or start the chapter all over again.

As far as I know, that’s not possible?
I just stream through Airplay on my surround receiver.

I could be wrong, though.
Maybe one of the more knowledgeable members have more info.

Hold onto your hats, everyone -- Sony has just released a brand spanking new PlayStation 4 system update. That's right, the very latest firmware update for PS4 is ready to roll right now. While we're all distracted, waiting for PS5 to show its face, the Japanese giant has shadow dropped firmware update 7.51. Exciting times, then -- but what in the world does this latest patch do? This one is optional fortunately, so probably just bug fixes vs. patching out piracy exploits.

So apparently this latest 7.51 update is knocking down all sign-ins to YouTube at least in North America.

After I got a few errors trying to sign in I checked Google & reports from Reddit & other sources confirmed it.

There isn’t a known fix for the error. So no sign-ins until Sony fixes this in a firmware.

Alternatively, if you have a mobile device with your YouTube account, you can pair it to your PS4.

Would a system reset work to restore PS4's YouTube sign in?

Agreed. Don't drop any features Sony, keep the 3D Blu Ray support going please. Blu ray 3Ds play on the PSVR too, but the resolution is not great.

From my understanding the problem is part of 7.51. If that’s the case then no, a System reset would just give you back 7.51.

It also needs to support PS4 3D games and PS4 camera games. No confirmation of either yet.

Not sure about others, but the sign in is fixed on my end. Must of been a Sony/YouTube networking error.

Which is also probably why there is no known fix for the error code.

Should also note I haven’t signed out or signed in. The issue was resolved while the app was running.

Has anyone else had problems with rest mode not working? When I try to put my PS4 in rest mode it shuts off. I turn it back on and it says it didn't shut down correctly. Everything else seems to be working fine though, I can play games and watch TV without issues. Could it be from the software update?

I haven’t had the issue recently.

Usually it occurs when I enter rest mode while the system is hot. You hear 2 beeps when it hasn’t shut down correctly. I avoid this by leaving the System on for around 5 minutes with no apps or games running.

I'm starting to get a little more concerned. I installed the Spyro reignited trilogy and there was lag with the music cutting out and the voices out of sync. Plus I'm getting some lag/freezing navigating the PS4 menus. Worried it might be a hard drive issue...I haven't even had this thing 2 whole years yet and I've taken very good care of it. *sigh*

Is it the original launch PS4? Could be the HDD.

Do you have it connected to the internet?
Did you install Spyro from disc or from PS Store?
When you navigate the PS home menus, exactly where does it lag?
