Anyone else order The Keep from VinSyn?

Such a wild backstory when it comes to how it was treated by Michael Mann & the studio. It never even got an official DVD release.

Needless to say people are scooping it up.

It’s almost sold out & they’ve already sold close to 10,000 out of the 12k copies.

Yeah, I also preordered the 4K The Keep. Only seen it once decades ago. Don't really recall any of it. Will be basically like watching for the first time. Hope VS does a good job.

It did get an official DVD release from Via Vision on January 20, 2020. Paramount provided the old sd master that the DVD was sourced from. The DVD shown below has been reviewed by a number of websites if you wish to know more about it.

And yes, I ordered the 4K edition from Vinegar Syndrome.

After a bit of back and forth I decided to blind buy this. I already have 2 other movies ordered so the order stacking is nice.

Jersey Mike’s was running a deal where you got 72 points (free sub) with any sub purchase. So basically a BOGO. It was supposed to run through today but it no longer appears on the app. Debating if I should risk it.

I have a Give A Hoot, Don’t Pollute sweatshirt to pick up at REI. I would have liked to have gotten it Wednesday but I didn’t want to public transport up there after I got back from my trip when I had to work that night. I would have liked to have gotten it Friday but those REI rat bastards were closed. Ridiculous! So now, I may pick it up today or maybe I’ll wait until my day off.
Today should be a no-spend day but I may have to get Costco again or use a coupon at Burger King. Not sure yet…

I hate being right. Ordered the #13 and did not get the 72 points. Guess I'll be reaching out to corporate. "through" means it should still work today.

LOL those black photos really upset AMZN.

Working as a delivery driver every day next week except Tuesday. I know there's regulations about that too so I may get yanked off my route or shift on Saturday, we'll see. Gotta try to keep the shifts as short as possible because the limit may be 60.

I realize now that I must start taking proactive steps to get what I need in my life. I am getting much closer to my daughter and her son, my grandson. Might be seeing some big changes in the new year. All good things.

At Chili's for 3 For Me. I normally get the burger for $10.99 but the last four times I've been here, I've gotten the steak for $16.99. That includes my chips (have them hold the salsa) and drink. I'm a stingy bastard but I'm feeling like steak again. I get regular mashed potatoes and loaded mashed potatoes for my sides

Also, I need to hire an intern to slap me every time I start looking at clothes to buy on the internet. I don't need anymore hoodies or jackets but I'm on Adidas' site and they've got some good deals. I'm getting one item for sure since it's less than $40 before tax. There's a hoodie that I want but I really just don't need anymore. But I probably shouldn't let sound reasoning get in the way
