Ah, Christmas. A time of love, joy, and...lousy USPS service. Lousier than usual, that is. Not the fault of Dark Force Entertainment since they shipped expeditiously but, man, is there any hope for this institution that is the US Postal Service? Was expecting two packages yesterday (one of those from DF containing Swinging Barmaids) - neither made it. "In Transit To Next Facility" is their default status for "Um, we don't know where it is but sit tight, it'll get to you eventually". Amazon adds insult to injury by saying "We're sorry your package is late - Come back in 2 days and let us know what you'd like to do" lol.

Received my Black Friday order from Dark Force as well. It only took one week to get to Europe and the packaging was great. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Highly recommended. Thanks a lot :-)

I have an order coming today via USPS that was scanned as “out for delivery” at 11:19am. Interesting since it’s only 10:55am.

Is The Eerie Midnight Horror Show second feature on the House That Vanished blu the same print as the Code Red blu and does it have the same extras?

I did a comparison a while back if i recall same exact print, but different extras (standalone has katarina extras). Worth still keeping the standalone if you want the extras.

My tracking for Barmaids finally updated this morning. The USPS is really wonky lately - more so than ever. Original tracking showed I should've had this on Monday.

So something I ordered from DF is 8 days overdue from the original estimated delivery date. The USPS has been bouncing it around different local facilities for days and it never seems to get anywhere. At one point delivery was "attempted" but it was a Sunday so I know that's BS. I'm reaching a point where I'm just going to throw in the towel but I feel like I need to do something. I don't want to file for a Paypal chargeback since it's not DF's fault so what do people typically do in these situations besides wait? I don't want to let the USPS off the hook that easily.

In my experience you can't do anything, so you wait for a while and then are given a ripped-open envelope in a plastic bag with an apology letter. Said envelope may or may not contain what used to be in it.

Contact the USPS and/or the local postmaster and they can look into it.

Sorry to hear about this. We have had some instances of packages being delayed around this time of year but eventually show up. You can contact us direct and we will look into it further. Have not any any totally lost packages at all through the holidays so hopefully this one will turn up soon as well.

I had something similar happen with UPS a week ago. They had one of my packages listed as out for delivery for five consecutive days, but with no attempt ever made to actually deliver it. Every day they would do the destination scan again. All it took was an email from me and the next day they delivered it and issued an apology. It's that time of year for strange stuff to happen.
