How is the image quality on this release? I’m sure it’s been discussed a ton, so I’m sorry for not searching. I broke my hand and arm so one handed searching takes forever lol. I’m just wondering how big of an upgrade the 4K is compared to the standard blu.

Got my copy in. So I don't actually have a 4k player yet but I watched the digital copy and I'm pretty impressed with even that honestly. The colors are so warm and not drab like previous versions. Very happy.

I'm new here but long time lurker. I've seen both versions of the 4K (white clear case & black regular case) for sale. This is what I noticed and my opinion. The white case ones will say "Disc(s) made in Germany. Packaged in USA" on the back of the slipcover. While the black regular cases will not have such a sticker on its slipcover. That is the difference. I would surmise that the clear case ones came from Germany while the regular cases didn't. Which do I think should be more coveted and perhaps more rare over time? The clear white case version since it's an import so to speak although you can go and just buy the blank clear case somewhere. Also, I noticed the black case ones starting to show up as replacements. I noticed that at Best Buy. Since black cases are the most common for 4K, it will most commonly be used for future presses. Just my thoughts.

It's great. Huge upgrade over the BD, which was legendary in how poor it was.

For some reason USPS decided to not deliver it today when it was out for delivery and only gave me 1 piece of junk mail so I got a refund from target hopefully I can find it in stores sometime cause it sure won’t get delivered.

When i got mine a few weeks ago. They had 8 copies. Over the weekend there was 3 copies left.

Honestly, the clear case looks great for this release. I feel like its reminiscent to ghostface. Glad I got the clear case.

I bet the white clear cases will go away over a short amount of time and black cases take over. White cases = first pressing from Germany. Haven't seen the "made in Germany" sticker before on a slip. I got mine but I would try to get the white clear case if you're collecting. It would be paired up with the "made in Germany" sticker on the rear of the slipcover.

I got the clear case from Amazon. I guess it doesn't really matter since it came with a pristine slip. I'm just glad I can finally watch it!

Interesting. I got a black case and have only seen those in my few stores that carry the Scream 4k release. For these, the "disc/s made in Germany, etc..." is white stamped onto the window of the keep case, down low on the back side.

the digital copy on Vudu definitely looks better than the original blu-ray. But the UHD looks way better than the digital (if you have a large screen) so you're in for a treat when you get a player.

it's possible your HDR picture settings have more processing on for certain things, which can mess up sync.
