15 Sunrises later, and I finally got Y3 IB. Now all I'm chasing is that perfect grimoire score. Thanks to coldenergy and a non-bluray friend for helping.

So I know I'm super late to the game, but I just did something I've been trying to do for quite some time now.....I beat Crota's End solo. Now, I've gotten UP to Crota many times before, no sweat. It was beating Crota himself that I was never able to manage before....until now. It may be no big deal to most, but I was pretty damned stoked. AND, to top it all off, I got Black Hammer. I haven't had mine since dismantling it for a Runestone back in the beginning of The Taken King days, when trying to get Black Spindle was a thing.

That mystical period between launch and Crota's End. I think Eric's tally is more impressive, given he did not join the thread until after I retired the first time.

I know Destiny 2 is on the horizon, but I don't think it can ever live up to its predecessor in that it was such an unprecedented gameplay experience in the PS realm. It also sold a few consoles, grew this forum, and caused a little mayhem in this forum. On PS3, Uncharted 2 was the probably the most definitive game. But I think if you ask me about the PS4 in twenty years, the first thing that will come to mind will be Destiny...not a first party game.

You should message Andy. He occasionally runs with a group of streamers that carry people at the Aksis cp. They would be perfect for what you're looking for. They'll knock the cp out for you in a matter of minutes.

The Black Spindle was never nerfed. Although, the Black Hammer's White Nail perk was nerfed a long time ago. The gun used to never run out of bullets, so long as you kept on making precision hits. It now takes bullets from the mag, so you'll eventually run out of bullets.

That was truly a mystical period. I don't think I did anything BUT play Destiny between September and November.

Yep, you don't need the full raid to get the trophy. Just beat the final boss. Those guys run people through to help them. They actually make the person jump off the ledge and kill themselves so you can't cause a wipe. They five man it and beat it for you. Takes 3-5 minutes tops.
