I thought the 3D was pretty flat, there were a few instances like you say but overall not a great conversion but I agree the A/Q rocked!

Coraline

The 3D wasn't always apparent in some scenes, while in others it was quite impressive. Glad I got it. I've always enjoyed this odd little film.

Picked up the Titans and Journey 3d 2 packs today at Best Buy. Was only going to get Titans (since the premise of the movies have well, never motivated me to see it) but everybody here raves about the 3d in Journey so I thought I'd give it a try.

Both journey's are great for the popouts, I hated the 2nd one when I first saw it in 2d, but have since watched it a couple of times in 3d.

Watched: OK for the $10 I payed on ebay, similar to the lion king but with some comedy thrown into the mix.

Finally got around to watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

It was suprisingly decent. The movie had a lot of action, so there was not too much down time to overthink a plot that wasn't too thick to begin with. It stayed busy and I would definitely say it was entertaining enough. I'd give the 3D at least a 4 out of 5 with quite a lot of out of screen effects, and good layering even in dialogue scenes. One of the better 2:35 ratio 3D movies. Don't watch this one with the young ones though (obviously) as there is plenty of language and some very brief T&A. I was surprised at the amount of action in this movie

Movie tastes are subjective to ones preference. That being said, I thought it was a cute, entertaing flick with really good 3D.

For what it's worth

Great job nabbing it for $10!! I think it's easily worth that, again imo.

I picked up the steelbook of Gravity today along with Predator 3d.

Looking forward to them both. I watched Gravity a couple of times at the cinema already so it will be interesting how it holds up at home.
