Anyone spare a serial off the Shrek glasses kit. I have the voucher, but it asks for a number off the glasses. PM me if you can help me.

I believe the glasses have individual serial numbers on right inside area not sure if that would work I used the one off the boxes for mine but never compared to see if those match. Worth a shot if you don't have box still.

Hi All,

This is my frst message on here so hi all. I am hoping someone can shed some light on my situation as its driving me crazy.

I have purchased a new 3D Tsamsung TV and bought the complete SHEK 3D DVD from Ebay. I have opened the DVD box and have the card where the 4th disc should be and I am reading where it says enter the verification code below but I cant seem to see the code anywhere??

Where exactly on the card is the code as its driving me crazy trying to fine it??

The voucher code is on the card included in the Shrek 3D Blu-ray case. If you have the card and the code is missing, you'll need to contact Samsung.

If I remember correctly, you need two codes (at least when you do it on-line). One you'll find on the card inside the Blu-ray case. The other is on the actual retail box that came with the 3D glasses and the Blu-ray case. If you only got the blu-ray case from the ebay seller, you need to contact him to get the other number off of the box. Good luck with that.

I sent off for my copy in Dec 09 and after hearing nothing, I phoned Samsung after Christmas. I was told that it had been shipped and they could do nothing about it. When I asked if the phone call had been a waste of time, I was not given an answer. Still no disc thas arrived.

Sounds to me as if the post office screwed up on that one, sorry mate

I don't know how a compensation would work either since it's a "free" movie, so unless Samsung is willing to send you a new copy I'm pretty sure you'll have to search for one here or on ebay, which sucks since you'll have to pay for it...

My brother in-law got his new samsung 550 plasma yesterday. He is using his ps3 slim with an hdmi 1.4 cord. And we were trying the shrek 3d kit out. I notice they don't ask you to play it in 3d at the disc menu. So we hit play and it plays in 2D so we hit the 3D button on the controller and the 3D comes on. Now that is also the same button for 2D to 3D conversion. So are we doing something wrong or is that right?

hi psx3man... If your brother bought a new tv and he has connected it to his PS3 to watch the 3D films then make sure that he has gone into the Display settings on the PS3 and then into Video Output Setting.. selecting HDMI and then selecting automatic. The PS3 will then find it is now connected to a tv that is capable of displaying 3D. If this is not done then although you can see a picture you wont get the proper 3D because the PS3 does not know it is connected to a proper 3D tv.
Once the PS3 has detected the 3D television then all will be good and when the movie starts it will go into 3D mode or ask you if you want to watch in 2D or 3D.

So I'm confused, everybody knows that the United States has everything before any other country (ie. 3DTV's were out a few months before Canada, iPad was out a few weeks before Canada, 4G networking, etc.) but why is it when you buy the Shrek with glasses package in Canada you get all 4 movies with out having to wait the 4 to 8 weeks or how ever long it actually is but in the United States you have the voucher that you have to send away and wait? That to me is the weirdest thing. But never the less, the United States still has better stuff (ie. Canada still hasn't got the Megamind and Shrek with glasses package mean while the U.S. has it already a while ago now), that and Pibb Extra (WOOOOOOO).
