Just got the latest mailout. Very cool promo for those of you who hang on to their DMR codes.

This promo takes in effect September 28 to December 9th. Free movie admission up to $14 to see either Frankenweenie (starts Oct 5th)or Wreck it Ralph (starts Nov 2nd) when you enter the DMR code from the following titles:

Alice in Wonderland live action (blu-ray/dvd)
Bolt (blu-ray/dvd)
Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files (dvd)
James and the Giant Peach (blu-ray/dvd)
Nightmare Before Christmas (blu-ray/dvd)
Dinosaur (blu-ray/dvd)
Tarzan (dvd)
Oliver and Company (dvd)

Glad I still hung on to my Nightmare code, that's $14 in my pocket since we're planning to see both these movies.

Ah I just got Nightmare before Christmas about a month ago and already entered the code, but haven't spent the points. I wonder ifs the option will be there for me to redeem for a movie ticket.

Nope. it activates when you enter the code, not whether you still have the points from the code.

So here's a (relative) newbie question that others might want to know:

I ordered Nemo and Aristocats during the 50% promo -- Aristocats was shipped with a shipping fee of $4.95; I'm guessing when Nemo ships, it will have the $2.95 fee attached, right? Or will it also have the $4.95 because it ships by itself?

Not a big deal, but something to factor into future orders...

If you ordered them in the same order and they chose to send it out separately, you should only be charged $2.95 for Nemo.

^+1. I had this happen as well, where one item was a pre-order and the other was available. They sent the available one and charged me $4.95; the other came with the $2.95 charge.

Dang it Futureshop has a nice metal packaging, which I usually don't care for but $29.99 with the coupon + the fact I never grew up with Pete's Dragon, I should have went with this instead

My Cinderella is already on the way. If I read it right, they don't do credit refund but more like a "in-store" credit right? Only $40 is charged so far, no shipping charges since it was free - would I have to pay for return shipping?

I am also waffling on whether to pickup the steelbook from FS. I ordered Cinderella back a few months ago, and now that it has shipped my commitment is fulfilled, so I won't be sending it back (once I get it). Wasn't into steels when I ordered it, but now that I am, I have a strong urge to get the FS version. Guess I could always gift the DMC copy, after getting the rewards out of it, of course.

I printed the $5 coupon and reserved a copy at my store thru the website....

Default VIP status - worth it?

So, I've completed my commitment agreement - wondering whether there is any huge benefits of retaining VIP status?

If nothing fantastic, then I plan to just cancel my membership and re-enroll in the near future.

I've been VIP since June and the only bonus offer is the Pins you can collect. I keep my membership for any deal that may come along as I can't find enough titles in the enrollment catalog to make a rejoin worth it yet. I have all I want from them already.

In the US club, I heard VIP members get B1G160% off, but not see that here at all yet.

Nobody's mentioned it yet, so...

The new Feature of the Month is out: Brave 2D + Pixar Shorts Vol 2 for $46.95

Make it a three-pack with Muppets Christmas Carol for $56.95 or Pixar Shorts Vol 1 for $59.95 and get free shipping for either trio.

If I wasn't going for the Brave Viva Metal Pack at FS, I'd be all over the Muppets Christmas Carol trio...

I decided to get the trio with the Muppet Christmas Carol and cancel my Brave Metal Pack from FS since I wanted all 3 of those blu's and this seems like the cheapest way to get them. That will also finish my obligation, so I'll just have to wait for them to add a few more movies I want to the sign-up offer and then I can quit and rejoin.

Me too!!!
But I also added Once Upon A Time - Season 1 (Blu Ray) at $25.77 with free shipping. Best price you're gonna find for this Blu Ray Boxset. Great deal!

Does anyone know what's next months double feature titles (after Brave + Pixar shorts vol. 2)? Or is it too soon to tell? I'm guessing it's obviously going to be Finding Nemo 3D pack with something else.

I just did the same. I've been wanting this set reduced for some time now. Even on release day with the $15 coupon, it was still $35+ tax.

I could live with $25.

Default DMR not DMC

Got the Iron Man Avengers 8" plush from redeeming DMR points. Nice. Decided to redeem more points to get the 3 others. Can't beat that for free

So if I've got this figured out , you only get 1 credit towards your obligation, right? The third item doesn't count because it is discounted also?

PS - The new Feature Title is The Tigger Movie, with a free gift (??) of Prep & Landing 2-Holiday Adventure Collection. Respond by Nov 26.

Too bad I just cancelled my membership a couple of days ago - I probably would have ordered this one

Oh man, why would you cancel if you're not re-upping right away!?

The featured deal is good, but I already have both titles, and got them for less so I declined it... but always good to keep the account open for good offers, until you want to re-up.

Well, yes, in the process of re-upping. Found out the other day a co-worker of mine is a member also (let her in on a few tips), so I am getting her to refer me, so she can get 2 free movies (possibly we will split), and then I will re-up. But, that deal probably won't be available still
