Not necessarily. Feige says he's open to the idea of an R rated line of Marvel films. Disney has released R rated films under their other banners before, it wouldn't be the first time.

Feige says a lot of things If it happens I will believe it. I just can't see Disney wanting to invest in a reboot for Blade.. its not like the demand is high for him.. he already got 3 movies.. the first one still holds up great for me though! I just want Deadpool and Spawn to happen already, honestly those are the only R comicbook movies I really care for

Plus, there's talk that Fox will finally greenlight an R-Rated Deadpool, so if that did well it could help make up Marvel's minds about doing an R-Rated Blade at least. But like I said, it'd be better in a few years when Jordan is a little bit older.

funny you say this

Ryan Reynolds says Deadpool movie is "tip toeing" forward; still faithful it will happen

Reynolds says

"[In] its current iteration the movie’s actually very small,. There’s minimal impact to the studio, which is the way we’re kind of presenting it to them. We’re saying ‘Look, the budget is minimal. Therefore, can we do this the way it should be done?’ Which unfortunately needs a Rated R [age certificate] or it needs those elements. The script is probably available online, it leaked.

But it’s very meta, I mean the character knows he’s in a movie, he knows he’s in a comic book. He names studio executives in the script. So, it’s kind of a risky property. But, you know, we’ll see. It's actually, within the last couple of weeks, taken a few very, very small tiptoes forward. In our lifetime? Yeah, I think so. I think if I were a betting man it’ll get made, eventually. I mean it’s just been developed to high heaven. It has great people around it, so we’ll see."

It's gonna happen. I have faith. The leaked script was great, well what I read of it. Had to tear myself away from it so I can be surprised when it DOES eventually come out

I honestly think that Blade, Punisher, and The Punisher are better suited for darker TV shows than films anyway. I think that may be Marvel's best bet when it comes to making those characters work. I actually think DareDevil and The Punisher are a part of that new TV series bundle that's being shopped around...Blade and Ghost Rider could make great series as well. They would fare better with episodes to really build story and mythology.

Punisher and Ghost Rider maybe. Daredevil is too A grade for TV imo. Blade did quite well on the big screen so I couldn't see them putting it on TV.

DareDevil is perfect for TV I think. But that's just me. Having him on a network like AMC or FX would be fitting, and he'd fit an hour long series well.

Oh, don't get me wrong I think Daredevil could work really really well on TV but from Marvel's point of view I can see them thinking he's too much of a draw to put on TV. Although I can see your side of the argument too.

You know what .. and I'm not joking, but I think that the "darker" Marvel heroes could really benefit from the edgy Tv-14 treatment on a network like FX or AMC.

I was just thinking of Daredevil.

Imagine a M or TV-14 rated show that follows Matt Murdock in his civil life with trials and having to deal with the worst scum of the city (with a treatment akin to Damages or The Practice), and on the other hand a superhero with anger issues that resorts to vigilante and very violent means to "end" some dead end cases... Would require very good writters, show runner and cast, but it could be an interesting exercise...

FANTASTIC FOUR: 'Sue Storm' Casting Said To Be Down To Three

While the following actresses were already named in Variety's report, according to The Schmoes either Saoirse Ronan, 19, Kate Mara, 30, or Margot Robbie, 23, will definitely end up playing Sue Storm, aka Invisible Woman, in Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot. It seems one of these three will end up signing on for the role, but we'll have to wait a while longer to see who ends up nabbing it. Michael B. Jordan has signed on to play Sue's brother, Johnny (the Human Torch).

Agreed that Daredevil would be great for a TV Series...

Because they could split the focus between Matt Murdock the Lawyer and Daredevil the Vigilante Hero.

It almost lends itself to a perfect format for a 1 Hour Drama series.

They need to stop Saoirse Ronan trying to happen. It's never gonna happen.

This really needs to hit a huge roadblock so it doesn't happen.

Amen!

That said, I'll give it a fair chance if it does happen (almost certain it will)
