A heads up for multi-region (and copious amounts of cash) people, Death Wish 2 & 3 are being released in Germany/Austria in November in limited edition mediabook versions. The big news is that part 2 will be the unrated version.

Dammit. Was hoping MGM or Kino would release Murphy's Law.

Death Wish 2 UNRATED.

Oh Happy Day. Thanks for the fantastic news

I'm guessing that this won't be on Amazon.de, so I'll have to pay the ridiculous shipping price on dtm.at.

Too bad the covers suck except for the last ones of each movie. What the hell? What company is releasing them?

It's a company called Diverse. You're right about the covers though. I went for the last ones, as they're at least original posters for the films.

Yep. I just ordered cover 3 for Death Wish 2. Now I'll finally order the US BD of Death wish, and that'll be me done for the Death Wish series. I have no need for the others.

Like 10 To Mdnight, Murphy's Law wasn't that great. So, I don't care that TT got it. Am pleased Kinjite is getting a release.

10 to Midnight is great

IMO Kinjite is looong. It may have dark subject matter but it's boring.

Good to know. Never seen ML or Kinjite, but 10TM was $7.99 good not $34.99 good. IMO of course.

I also think that "Ten to Midnight" and "Murphy´s Law" were much better and more entertaining than "Messenger of Death" or "Kinjite-Forbidden Subjects".

From the 70´s his worst movies were "Chino" and "CaboBlanco" if you ask me. They were both boring.

Just the shipping for Part II would be $30! Absolute madness. I asked Diabolik DVD if they will be carrying it.

Still pretty expensive just to get here in the UK. £33 ($50). I'll be kicking myself now if Diabolik say they'll get it. [emoji23]

I guess that those of us in Europe are "lucky" in regards to postage in this instance. When I ordered Part II this afternoon, postage was "only" 15 euros (almost 17 dollars). The total was 45 euros (50 dollars)

Thankfully, this is only the third disc that I've had to order from them this year.

Yes please let us know what they say, I am one of the ones who has been holding off buying Death Wish Part II since all that was available has been the cut version.

I have Death Wishes 1, 3 & 4 (not bothered with 5).

Skipped 2 so far because it was cut... however, I can't justify those ludicrous import prices.

It's not even a great movie... I don't think I'd pay that sort of cash for my all-time favourite. There's really no justification for this limited edition/mediabook crap except to screw money out of collectors.

It's too bad stuartalex is banned, he would be beside himself with joy that the uncut version of DW2 is being released. He used to mention it in just about every post.

DW2 is actually my favourite film of the series. I love the sleazy 1980s downtown LA vibe it captures. I don't think I will be buying this expensive import release though, the R-rated version in my "Bronson Triple Threat" suits me fine. I love the artwork on disc #3, though!
