I've only seen the first two seasons. I don't get the Sky channel it's on in the UK. I bought season 3 last Feb. & decided to re-watch 1 & 2 first, saw one (& it does look amazing on Blu-ray), & then things happened & the summer came, so have 2 & 3 to watch, should be just in time for 4.

Yeah, I don't know what to do either. Boardwalk Empire looks really cheap.

Pretty certain all releases HBO does globally* are region free!

*Titles like Deadwood and Sex and the City (both Paramount internationally) are exceptions - their US blus are region A only - but most others aren't locked. However, the bonus discs may be (I don't know).

The pages on this site for the seasons say the blu-rays are region free. Only the dvds are region locked.

Oh wait, kill off half the main characters. Slice off the main protagonist's head. Remove the playboy's most precious appendage. Turn one of the easiest to hate antagonists into someone you cheer for and still feel for even though he's gone back to being (mostly) a dick. Never mind the imp. Best character on TV and that's not even close.

Even then, the fantasy element is really very minor. Hell the dragons don't do much other than eat some sheep and torch a baddie now and then in awesome fashion.

I hope NO ONE listens to your advice with any serious consideration.
Jesus Christ people, it's okay if someone doesn't worship your favorite show. Opinions vary on everything. 20 million Americans watching Game of Thrones means 300+ million that don't. It's not some holy writ FFS.

It's a good show. I don't think it's amazing, but as I said in that post, I'm not a huge fantasy genre fan. Get over it.

though I feel Tyrell had a bigger impact on this season overall I'll be getting the Martell one seeing as how they wont have much of an impact in the later seasons and Tyrell will still be involved. Also judging by what They're doing with the other slipcovers they'll be re-releasing the tyrell one sure enough. What I have is

Season 1: Stark
Season 2: Lannister
Season 3: Targaryan
Season 4: Martell

You need to rethink your definition of masterpieces. None of these are even close to that.

Do we really have to do the "my favorite show is better than your favorite show..." thing?

Well different characters different preferences I`m not gonna spoil the thread with which TV show is the best, I just mean by TV show masterpieces every show I love to have a repeat view over 3 or 4 times without being bored.

this is what i have, but i cant decide for season 4, i think ill have to rewatch and see who i feel had a bigger impact, but i guess it will also depend on how the packaging looks when its official.

LOL here you go again. You post your opinion as a be-all to the topic and then take offense when people call your crazy. You are free to have your opinion but when you state "It doesn't get better" you are making your opinion into a factual statement. You've done it before and then get all butthurt because other's strongly disagree with you.

Maybe you should take your Jesus Christ moment before you post re-think how making your statements will be perceived. If you don't like that others put down your comments then don't post them on an open public forum.

And if the "fantasy genre" isn't your thing why do you bother to offer your already biased opinion in the first place?

After the first episode GoT is fantastic. By the end of the first season it's thrilling. Season 2 adds more to that. Season 3 blows your mind. Season 4 continues to grow even more. Can't wait for season 5.

This show is MADE for repeat viewings. I've watched season 1 at least 3 times and still pick up new things. There are seeds planted in some of the very first episodes that don't pay off until 30+ episodes later. I bet there's even more to come (I've not read the books) and it's thrilling to be bother shocked and surprised.
