- I read and fell in love with the book before the movie was released. IMHO Crichton's novel is far superior to what ended up in the cinema. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy watching the movie but i'll always know what it could and should have been.

The true potential of the high hide not being shown in the movie is what bugs me.

See if you can find an excerpt of her skills in the high hide chapter of the book, it's incredible.

I hope preorder for the UK collection set get added soon, they tend to be cheaper than their US counterparts.

Yeah, I vaguely remember loving the Lost World book as a teen and being sorely disappointed by the movie. Still going to just grab the original and JW. Feel no need to ever see the others again.

Any word if this will have grain reduction and edge enhancement if so pass. also any word on a 4k bttf trilogy?

We won't know what the PQ will be like until they either show off some footage or people get theirs in-hand. As for BTTF, I'd like to think a 4K release is in the works but there don't seem to have been any rumors or announcements yet.

There's a Dolby Logo on the 4K discs, please let that be Dolby Vision.

It's next to the other audio logos for DTS so I'd be inclined to go with Dolby Audio, there's still no reason why these shouldn't have DV though.
