Already up for order on Best Buy. Amazon is anyone’s guess... they’ve seemed to fix their beef with Disney finally, but who knows.

I would doubt it myself, a lot of the forum doesnt even have 4k TVs yet. Myself, I have a 2016, a 2012, a 2009 and a 2005 TV in different rooms.

Haha yeah. Before a year ago, I had a Sony 1080p LCD from 2008. That thing worked like a charm! I miss the ole girl. She put in a lot of work. /tearshed

When new game consoles come out and technology advancement comes along then that's usually right around the time I tend to upgrade. It felt like I was left out from watching 4K discs for several years and then I finally arrive 4K ready in Nov. '17 and then realize I'm an early adopter and there's only like 150 discs lol. Most of all I wanted to be able to play games on my PS4 Pro in 4K HDR on a substantiate set, but with minimal investment. Then you want more. It was like opening a whole can of worms with this Pandora's box of HDR stuffs.

Sure. I think it comes down to how much you care about subtle HDR improvements and better grain resolution. If those two things matter a lot then you'll turn into a UHD addict like moi, whereas if they matter less you might consider it a less amazing upgrade.

I don't begrudge people who stick to remasters and new releases.

Just checked and bullmoose has it listed as being shipped by 12/31.

That means it more than likely isn't coming out this year. And this is for a few reasons:


1. It is a Monday and movies don't come out here on a Monday
2. It's a major holiday
3. Usually, when something has a release of 12/31 that means it's not got an actual release date yet, but it assumed that it will be announced relatively soon with a close enough release date. Video games do this all the time.

4. There has bee no official annoucement so that means the date and listing on Bull Moose are not real and may probably fall off shortly.

31st December is a placeholder date used by retailers. It just means they know it’s coming this year, but not exactly sure when. It’ll probably be sometime in December like we’ve seen listed previously.

Canada has the release date pegged Dec 4 pretty much since go -- that's a Tues and certainly makes perfect sense for a release date.

Aus 11th (EDIT: 12th on AUS sites though Bluray has 11th listed)
