MOD titles rarely drop in price. Being made on demand, it's not often that there's extra stock that they need to unload at a discount.

The principal
Young guns 2
Multiplicity
The squeeze
Not very often anymore. Deep Discount used to have some decent sales on the Sony MOD line though not as low as Warner Archive nor Universal MOD line which are basically produced by the same company. Sony MSRP is generally $25 vs 20/22 for the other 2 companies so there is a bit of a premium even at the start. It's been even worse post COVID as lots of these small batch pressed MOD items tend to sell out and it takes long periods of time for them to get repressed again.

For a couple years I could predictably wait for $11-12 (occ lower) prices on Sony and 9-11 for the other studios. The last 3 years I can't remember seeing any sale on the Sony MOD line even getting to $15 ea and most of the time even $20 is considered a decent price.

It even worse for Internationals since the best deals have generally been from the retailers that don't ship out of the US like Bullmoose and Target and even FYE. I know Deep Discount ships to EU, but I can't remember seeing many even as low as $20 lately. MovieZyng ships internationally, but their prices rarely even get to a 10% discount.

Oh, What a Night was produced by Norstar Entertainment. New Line Cinema were only the US theatrical distributor while Sony handled video on New Line's behalf.

It hasn't been seen anywhere recently, not even digital so I imagine Warner nor Sony even have it anymore. Norstar's assets got sold to a bunch of companies so it's a guessing game as to who owns it now.

Any chance they could release the TV mini-series "Coma" on Blu-ray? I'd love to get it.

Compression will be better with Sony and this release is supposed to be based off of a new 2K remaster.

Asked BlueUnderground if the Lustig films Hit List and Relentless have any chances to be released. They don't have the license to release them and it seems as Sony is sleeping on the films.

Really really hope that something happens to them though.

I wonder if Bye Bye Birdie and Pal Joey will be the same transfer as the twilight time releases? I think that's what they did with Oliver! I like Sony's cover art a lot better than Twilight's though.

I’m very excited for Bye Bye Birdie. It’s the one Twilight Time title that I’ve kicked myself for not grabbing before it went OOP. Glad I didn’t have to pay 3 figures or stoop to buying a bootleg copy.

Great news!

Looks like they're also releasing Bingo (1991).......... Interesting choice, to say the least.
