Anecdotal posts from a message board won't tell you how well these are selling but I wouldn't say that people think the dated SEs are "fine". The one change I don’t like is, and I may be on my own with this is the dialogue Vader says after Luke gets rescued from Cloud City and we get dupe shots of Vader landing his shuttle on the Death Star II from ROTJ. I much prefer “bring my shuttle”. Ahhhh...can’t wait for 4K80

Agree Ross! Out of the prequels I enjoy Episode III and probably will get that. Episode I maybe just for Darth Maul duel if it’s really better than the 2011 transfer. Right now my 4K Skywalker Saga looks like:

I’m gonna grab Force Awakens 4K soon. Rogue One not officially Skywalker Saga but I’ll be upgrading to 4K on that one. I also own Solo 4K.

what about attack of the clones kamino scene and the asteroid field scene and the obi wan anakin vs dooku and yoda vs dooku and of course the geonosis scene

Another SE change I didn't like (well an SE change they made for the 2004 DVD version) is the Palpatine hologram. They used the crappy makeup from Revenge of the Sith (which made him look more like Frankenstein than anything else) instead of whatever makeup they used for him in Return of the Jedi.

yeah, the choice of crappy effects for him in ep3 is horrid. one would think that he'd look more like rotj version during esb special edition but no.

I don’t mind any of the Empire changes, New Hope is in between (the Han-Greedo scene is a bit awkward and the added CGI feels unnecessary even if I don’t think any of those changes really affect the film in a major way), and I think Return of the Jedi has the most egregious changes. I wish they would also restore the original cuts and could present them in new 4K masters alongside the current versions, but I gather that isn’t going to happen so I can make do with these versions.
