Not sure, how to get one of those titles. The site moderators know who I am, so if they want to grant me a special title, that'll be fine with me, if it's helpful.

You might want to get Insider status or a special title with the website, so this way we all know we are actually talking to someone from the company.

Walking the Edge! Asking prices for the out of print DVD are (or, at least, were) ridiculous. A new Blu-ray is a whole lot better option. Thanks, FCE.

So I'll admit - I haven't been familiar with any of the films Fun City has released or announced... but after checking out both Alphabet City and I Start Counting, I'm definitely paying attention.

Unrelated question: I don't have an Instagram, but I used to be able to see posts on their site. For the last day or two I can't see them on my phone or my PC. Did they go fully private or something?

On the fence about blind buying Jeremy, can anybody tell me what to expect with that film?

Same for me on my PC.
If someone could post the logo here, it would be appreciated!

Are you speaking of FCE's instagram account or something else?

Seems to work fine when you link directly to the account:

EDIT: or not. It works fine if you google it and pull it up that way.

I am biased, of course, but my best pitch is that it's a teen romance / coming of age drama that sets itself apart by being set in the grimier '70s NYC setting you're used to seeing as the backdrop of cop dramas such as FRENCH CONNECTION and the films of Scorsese. It's also very '70s in its realistic treatment of the subject matter, in contrast to the more heightened, comedic hijinks of so many '80s teen films.

It's sweet, but not saccharine- and awkward and naturalistic rather than a parade of contrived schtick and hi-jinks.

Really looking forward to that one.

Having had a look (on the IMDb) at Walking the Edge, I think that is looking like being the third Fun City Editions title I'm going to get (have got Alphabet City and I Start Counting). It sounds like the sort of film I'd be interested in. Love the movie poster artwork.

Better and more succinct than what I said.

This film already has a lot of cool vintage artwork and we'll have something new, too.

Walking The Edge announcement is awesome news. Very excited over here. Something I've been hoping for and with Fun City at the helm we will receive a wonderful presentation of the film as well.

I recently picked up another Forster/Spinell film from the early 80s and absolutely loved it. I can't wait for Walking the Edge.

Every new film announcement from you guys has me excited.

Will Walking the Edge feature a new 2k scan or an existing HD master from the rights holder?

It will be a new 4K scan from the OCN. There’s been no previous HD master.
