Kevin Kiner (Rebels and Clone Wars) is doing the score, so it will be exactly that. Ludwig Göransson will assist him for The Mando-related stuff.

Cautiously optimistic. Would love to love this.
Aw man, you should have stuck with Andor, there's a reason it was nominated for an emmy. Blows all the Star Wars made this last year out of the water.

Was that young Mon Mothma in the trailer? Shouldn't she look like she did in ROTJ by now? Using the same actress from ROTS, R1 and Andor is weird and made me confused on the timeline for a second

The actress who played her in ROTJ was already old when she did the job and they aren't going to do another weird deepfake to cover the actor change. There's no reason why it doesn't work, though I think some attention to "aging up" should be paid in visual appearance, so she doesn't look "eternally young".

The actress who plays Mon Mothma now is pretty much the same age as the actress who played Mon Mothma then (46/50). And I guess matched the ages she was supposed to be in ROTS (28) and Rogue One (39).

Andor is the only one off as she'd be around Rogue One age, but not much of a deal.

I have to give them credit here: They are telling people beforehand that they should watch TCW and Rebels to really be able to get into this show. Now, that doesnt mean I like that this is required but at least they are warning users up front that you need to watch a bunch of stuff ahead of time.

Now, I have to decide if I want to sit through all of that or not. Ive watched some of TCW and some Rebels but never finished any of it.

Im hoping that we get a summary or lead-up fan video made for those of us that dont want to watch 7/8 seasons of TCW and then however many seasons of Rebels to be "caught up". I await the nerds to take care of this for us.

I don't want to infringe on your "right" to constantly shit post but I'm really curious what the last thing you actually enjoyed was?

From what I see 99% of your posts are full of bile and misery.

It's not just Disney or Marvel. The new Superman has already been declared doa.

Another thing I noticed about this -- and even the recent stuff with The Mandalorian -- what the hell has happened to the visuals?

I don't mean bad VFX like The Flash or an MCU film/show -- but where is the cinematography?

Disney+ was at least onto something with the first season of 'The Mandalorian' when they had Greig Fraser leading things off and establishing a genuinely cinematic visual style, with blockbuster vistas, moody lighting, and just overall well above average imagery for a sci-fi television production.

But everything Star Wars related for Disney+ since then has devolved into some sterile, bland, artificial construct of a sci-fi world.

This show looks no different.

Everything is beginning to look so unbelievably cheap under the Disney umbrella.

That was an amazing trailer. I’m so pumped up for this. It put a lump in my throat seeing Ray Stevenson. RIP.
