It will be interesting to see if Paramount upgrades Escape From Alcatraz to 4K since they are farming it out. I think Citizen Kane is the only movie that was upgraded to 4K digitally that was licensed.

File this in the TBD pile but Drive (2011) has a weird pre-order glitch for June 29th in the Aussie iTunes store. Could it be a possible HDR U/G?

Hoping it won’t be long before the rest of the OG Star Trek movies will be upgraded seeing as they coming soon to physical. Also First Contact too seeing as it’s now apparently steaming at 4K on P+

It appears unlikely, considering the physical release is distributed by Criterion. MGM own the digital rights.

We might see Red Sonja 4K appear in the UK store in the next couple of weeks, a new 4K restoration is due on the 18th July.
Currently the film has remained absent from the UK store so will just have to wait and see I guess.

And what are you basing that on? You’ve tried playing it or that it just doesn’t show up the 4KHDR section of the ATV app?
If the latter then try playing it.

Yeah just tried it on my TV and it shows as DV when playing so must’ve updated after all.

Was just showing as HD in my phone but after just purchasing something else it has changed to show 4K now instead of HD.

I saw where IndyMLVC posted that VUDU now has "Kiss The Girls" in 4K/UHD, so we can expect iTunes to have the same shortly.

UPDATE: Now available in 4K/DV.
