I'm never mad when Pop decides to do anything. Most of the time, I'd like to think he knows what he's doing. But you're right, I don't like how he just mailed that game in. It wasn't just the big three, Fin didn't play either. I like the effort we put forth, even though K-mart didn't play and Billups got injured in the first half. But now, we have no excuses if we lose on Sunday which is the next time we play. In Boston.

Why is this not a Sunday game? Today is the first I've heard of this game. Why hasn't the NBA done what I've come to expect? Overhype the hell out of this game.

Maybe I am the only one who think it is not a strange thing. Think about it, the first Celtics / Lakers match up was on X'mas day on ABC. And you just know the next match up won't be on ABC/ESPN, and it has got to be on TNT. It is just a business decision, and I am totally fine with it.

I'm cool with it too - it's just odd that the ABC game on Sunday is getting more commercial spots than tonight's Finals rematch, which must not be on ABC (I haven't checked the channel yet). And it's at 8pm instead of the usual 7pm.

Again, tonight's game is on TNT, and their broadcast almost always starts at 8pm ET. So it is not surprising to have a "later" local start time in Boston.

Then again, I am just being realistic here. Even though we won the last four, we also gave up over a 100 pts in THREE of those games. It tells me our D is not quite doing the job. Good offense only get you so far against weaker teams, but against the Cs we cannot play like the last two.

Resting one or two ok but as a Fan standpoint, this really sucks. You shell out big bucks to take the fam to watch a great team and bam your nailed with oh btw our hall of famer and his posse will be sitting.

Nope! Cant disagree there, Bynums presence in the middle is really obvious or lack of. Someones have to step it now! Gasol has been playing great but defensively everyone needs to contribute.

Yup thanks but I meant I had to figure out if TNT was my only choice or are one of the local networks (NESN or CSN) broadcasting the game - I tend to like the local announcers better than Van Gundy and friends - EDIT, I see it'll be marvelous Marv tonight...). NESN should be showing Bruins so I think it'll be CSN for me, with a sprinkle of channel flipping to watch the B's vs The Senators.
