That's true. The people who complain about every release aren't even buying the films; they're just complainers. If I was the Insider, I just wouldn't even respond to that BS.

I think Hearts in Atlantis is Warner...

I can see Warner Archive doing that eventually.

I stuck with spooky titles this time around. Come to think of it, they're mostly made-for-television spooky titles... Am very much looking forward to viewing these, which I either haven't seen before, or haven't seen for a very, very long time.

Major studios have been outputting digital films to celluloid. I read one article about Paramount's preservation elements for Scorsese's Hugo. Shot in 3-D, so they had to create color separations for each eye. So, that's 48 reels just for the separations.

I remember at one point wanting to own everything he wrote before I ran out of space, I thought there would be many more like me.

Just speaking as a King fan I have no desire to own movies like Salem's Lot, It or Dark Tower but great interest in Storm of the Century and Rose Red. I think his direct involvement goes a long way in getting fans on board the film projects.
No offence, but I think you're a bit deluded on this topic. You don't get much more direct involvement than Creepshow or Maximum Overdrive, both with much higher profiles than Storm of the Century, and I would seriously doubt if those have even sold more than a few thousand each on blu-ray.

Happy with my haul. A little bummed that a feel "hot" items I've wanted weren't included this time around, but next time, baby.

For a Few Dollars More
The Earthling
The Minion
The Tarnished Angels
The Puppet Masters
Foxfire
Tell Them Willie Boys Is Here
The Appaloosa
What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice?
The House That Would Not Die
Zachariah
I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle
Nothing Sacred

Of these, I've only seen SACRED and DOLLARS. And all were on my list except the last minute (cheap) addition of VAMPIRE MOTORCYCLE.

Anyone know if there was ever a recall for The Interpreter? It looks like a solid thriller and I want to grab it, but apparently there are ghosting issues the last 10 min. of the film. Has anyone that grabbed it found the issue to be that bad?

I'd stay away. Not only is it astonishingly mediocre, but the issues haven't been resolved as far as I know.

After skipping the last sale I was happy to take a dive into this one:

Death Rides a Horse (Da uomo a uomo) (Blu-ray) 1 $9.99
Judgment at Nuremberg (Special Edition) (Blu-ray) 1 $9.99
The Appaloosa (Special Edition) (Blu-ray) 1 $10.99
The Big Country (60th Anniversary Special Edition) (Blu-ray) 1 $11.99
Silkwood (Blu-ray) 1 $9.99
Sub-Total: $52.95

Paying more than $10 during these always makes me a bit queasy, but I have to take things into perspective; I regularly pay $15 (or in some cases, $20) during Twilight Time's sales. A couple of these "over $10" purchases are also often essential, since they take you over the free shipping threshold. And finally, all of the work done on a title like The Big Country deserves a little extra compensation.

Is it possible to add to an order?
Once an order has been placed we cannot alter an invoice or exchange items. If an order has not yet been approved for packing/shipping you can still cancel and re-place your order. There is a cancellation link in the confirmation email and also via the admin if you placed the order as a registered user.

Once an order has been approved and sent to the fulfillment house, it's nearly impossible for us to alter an order.

Since I'm writing from the shop/service account here's a quick update.

All systems are running fine - keep orders coming in! First rush was huge, but we prepared for sale and inventory is holding strong. Fulfillment house (Technicolor in Nashville) is working their way through hundreds of packages. Allow us a little extra time for packing.

Once an order is placed, we cannot alter your order. If you wish to add or remove an item please cancel your order then place it again. There is a cancellation link in your email, or if you placed your order as a registered user in your user admin.

Our most frequent problems with orders:
- Customers often change their minds after placing orders. Be mindful of formats and be sure you don't already own the title (unless as a gift or an extra copy for your summer home)
- Incorrect or unsafe shipping address is entered. We really do experience porch thefts.
- We ship when all-items are available to be shipped. Be mindful if you include pre-order or out-of-stock items in your order.

Best way to reach us is via customer service forms (not by calling our switchboard or call service). https://www.kinolorber.com/customer-service We are open on weekdays.

Sale continues at https://www.klstudioclassics.com/lis...filiate=klscsm

If anyone gets a copy of Night Stalker, Night Strangler, Trilogy of Terror or Cabin Boy that doesn't have a slipcover or comes with a damaged slip... PM and I will send you my copy/ies for the price of postage.

I didn't say it would sell 20,000 just that it is frustrating the thousands of "constant readers" who buy every book he releases don't care about an original screenplay he wrote. I'm just wondering where those people are, maybe it is because the readers aren't film fans or distrustful of adaptations because of all the bad ones.

I don't think any have been ruled out, and we know there's at least one Peck title in the deal (which must be one of these two at least). That said, I'm interested to see what the last 50s western is (presuming the two 3D titles mentioned previously are part of the deal), given it must either be a Richard Widmark or Kirk Douglas title. If it's Man Without A Star, then this should mean The Secret Ways is one of the 60s titles. If it's Backlash, then A Lovely Way to Die comes into play (though something like Eddie Macon's Run is also possible).
BarnDoor:

It looks like you can cross off ARABESQUE as a possibility. I saw a new post today on the Universal MOD thread. It had Amazon links to several BDs for release on 6/4, including Mr. Baseball and Winning. I checked out Amazon myself and found ARABESQUE listed as a Uni MOD BD release for 6/4 as well.

Also, you can cross off Come September as a possible Rock Hudson KL release. It is all ready a Universal MOD BD.
