I love the fact that they started with 'Reunited'. It looks to be filmed in HD. I hope we get that concert on blu-ray. Faith No More is awesome. Did you know that Mike Patton, the lead singer did the voice of the 'Zombies' in I Am Legend?

I'm not that popular, not that there's anything wrong with that. Thanks Al.

Talked my guitarist friend into watching Prometheus for his first time after jamming tonight. He is a huge Alien(s) fan, and had never seen it. He really enjoyed it. Probably my favorite blind-buy ever.

Just finished watching Crystal Skull. I don't understand all the hatin' on it. It's probably my least favorite Indy movie, but I still really like it.

I'll be in the theater watching The Hobbit in 48fps 3D IMAX in a little over 11 hours. I can't wait!

I agree about the Crystal Skull, I thought it was pretty good also. My least favorite of the bunch is Temple of Doom. Haven't seen The Hobbit yet but my oldest said it was good, enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by B-giz, Hat-Man and Thomias.

I am on about my 12th beer and 5th bowl, but here is my 'The Hobbit' review:

The 48fps/3D really f'ed with my head. A lot of it was amazing but a lot of it was really weird. It never gave me a headache or eye problems, but it went from beautiful, to soap-opera, to best video game ever in a matter of seconds. I don't like my movies looking like video games, but some shots looked beautiful. I almost wonder if the projectors might look better/smoother with a firmware update.

The 48fps ideally shouldn't be making any soap-opera effect..strange. Maybe you're right and they need too update some of their equipment.

Even though properly an epic film. Im jaloux of you having seen it mate.

I've noticed a lot of people in The Hobbit review thread saying it looked the same way. After thinking about it a little more, I really don't care for the 48fps 3D. It's too distracting, whether in a good way in beautiful vistas, or a bad way in awkward unnatural movement. I'll probably go see it again soon, but I'll be watching it in 24fps 2D.

I thought that overall it was a very good movie, but I think it would have had better pacing if they had tightened it up by about 15 minutes.

Hello Russ. It's not too bad. I got pretty tore up last night, but I slept half the day away, so that helped a lot.

So the 48fps is only in the 3d version? Yes clocking in at nearly 3 hours i would imaging it felt a bit long.
