Just got an Elite Series 2 controller from Best Buy for $125 brand new. I did a price match with Amazon and also used my 10% movers coupon..kind of. The coupon wouldn't work cause you can't combine a price match and a coupon, but the line was so long and the cashier was a little flustered, so he just manually gave me an extra 10% off the price match and let me keep the coupon for another purchase.

Not sure if this is the right place as I don't venture over here too often. But I signed up for Game Pass Ultimate last week and I've been cloud gaming on my laptop and for the most part it's been a really unique experience. But I've had to use my DualSense since I didn't have an Xbox controller and while it works, the workaround has been slightly tedious. So I picked up the Xbox 20th edition controller today since it was on sale for $49, and I already love it. It connected to effortlessly to my setup.

Hoping to get a XSX down the road but the cloud gaming is a nice holdover.

Really enjoying the Series X as a legacy console. Elder Scrolls Oblivion is still a lot of fun after all these years, and being able to play at 4K/60fps with HDR is great. I only wish they had added the missing overworld song to the 360 version when they were doing these upgrades.

I’m glad the £1 game pass upgrade trick still works. I should have stacked 3 years of XBL but wasn’t sure it was still working so only got 12 months. But still 12 months of Game pass ultimate for £36 is a bargain.

I haven’t actually played anything on there yet. Obviously got Halo and FH5 downloading straight away.

Debating on getting the 299 system. Is the 499 version that much better?

If you have a 4K setup, or plan to go full 4K, you’re going to want the Series X instead of the Series S. The S can do some higher resolutions but is designed more for people still running a 1080p setup.

Well, picked up my XSX today. It's going to be the "family" gaming system. We've already had a blast with Halo and I've got Forza downloading now.

Probably a stupid question but most of the Series X games also work on Xbox One? I noticed Halo Infinite lists both and they are not separate console releases like same game for PS5 and PS4.
