It’s absolutely worth it. The UHD is terrific. HDR on your TV will look much better than SDR screenshots online.

Probably just made too many. I am sure some of the collectors passing due to lack of original mono doesn't help.

My thoughts exactly. With stores rushing holidays as they do, we're gonna see thanksgiving and Christmas stuff start to hit the shelves come Nov 1st. Get these sold quickly while the timings right.

Additionally, the new movie hits theaters on October 18, so I'm sure the lower cost is am attempt to give this disc and new film a boost. Not that I think either need it, but studios want to move units and get people in seats and this is a good way to get people to hop on the hype train. We all win with the price drops.

There's probably some truth to this as well. I can imagine there are collectors who will pass on this because the original audio is missing, or they simply do not like the color timing.

Their loss though...it's a nice release, and at these prices, they're giving it away.

Meh, if you have the 10/15 disc blu box set probably better off just waiting until they get it right on 4k uhd instead of settling for a flawed release and eventually getting 4k double dipped.

...they already got it right on UHD. The incredibly minor mono complaints don’t negate that.

In my opinion, you don't spoke speak for everybody who has a different view to yourself.

The audio is incorrect. This is a fact. So your opinion is worth squat.

As is yours. The differences are incredibly minor and complaints about it are truly petty.

$13 I can put towards the future 4K UHD double dip with original mono sound.

There's no telling if a future release will have the original mono track. Also even if one does they might screw up the video to please the orange lovers, who knows. If you're a total stickler for the mono then by all means sit this out, but I think most will be happy they bought this.

Bottom line is I'd rather watch the 2014 Blu-ray with original mono than the 4K UHD with a surround downmix. The 2014 Blu-ray looks excellent as-is, and if 10 years from now there is no double dip (yeah right) I can always come back to this release if I change my mind on the audio. So not really losing much by passing on it IMO.

I'm just saying the number of people who care about the mono enough to ignore the improved video is probably a very small number.

Valid points everyone. I can really see both sides here. It really all boils down to how much having the mono track means to you.

Revisionist releases are horrible in the way you kinda feel stuck with them, even though they aren't really reflecting the artists original intent. I'm just happy it hasn't been re-framed.

In all seriousness though, it really should have the original mono track, and if you feel strongly about that, then you really should vote with your wallet and not buy this release.

If we lap up every release that gets dropped in our laps, simply because it's available, then the studios have zero incentive to put out a quality product. They know we'll buy it up like sheep, even if it's garbage.

Personally, I really enjoy every aspect of this release, save the missing original audio. It wasn't enough to put me off from buying, and really enjoying this disc.

For $13 though it’s worth it even if the audio isn’t original mono. Well that’s what I think. If it was that price here in the U.K. I’d buy it. That’s less than £10. Fantastic price for a 4k. I’m not gonna Import it as by the time you pay for postage and import tax it’s about £20, which is the price of it here in the U.K. anyway, so I’ll just buy the U.K. one as I can have it in my hand the next day. I’m so jealous of that price, don’t know why people are moaning about 13 bucks! It’s twice the price here.

Is this the first large catalog title to come without a digital code?

Wound up buying it, btw
