Yes, but doesn't Amazon usually still show up in the listings but say it's out of stock ? I don't see Amazon listed at all as the seller and .ca either.

It's amazing how quick item's go from being cheap and available to OOP and expensive just like that.

It might also be because Powers Boothe died last week. i think Tombstone is OOS right now also and Boothe is in that also. The samething happened with Gene Wilder. When he passed some of his movies went OOS for a time.

That would make sense...although like I said, you'd think that Amazon would just say out of stock.

Yeah I remember when Robin Williams died literally all of his films on blu ray and dvd were sold out for weeks. I had to wait for about 2-3 weeks to get my copy of Awakenings. Everything showed as temporarily out of stock though.

Yes that's how it always works. However I am much more inclined to believe Amazon sold out after Boothe's death and hasn't ordered more yet, or something like that. Shout likely would announce anything going OOP. We'll see though, you might be right.

No offense to anyone but I doubt people were running out to get Powers Boothe movies after his death. As much as I like him as an actor, he wasn't really an A lister to begin with. When I mentioned it to people they were all like, who ? Oh that guy.

I doubt that Southern Comfort is a big seller and Amazon probably didn't have a ton in stock. A guy in the movie dies and perhaps they sell some copies quickly and go OOS.

It can still be ordered directly from Olive Films' website, so most likely it's not OOP.

This movie disappeared fast. I was going to pick it up in June.

I was going to get it last month but I put it off... It's not great, but its an ok Rocky type of movie that was cheap until it went OOP. Now its nowhere to be found at a reasonable price.
