Demon's Souls – Now a PS3 Greatest Hits title

You need to upgrade it with the Colorless Demon Soul before it'll do any damage. Especially when compared to your already upgraded Northern Regalia.

I thought the N. Regalia used too much stamina and was slooooow, even though damage is really high. I have been using a Mirdian Hammer +10 and have LOVED it. It's very fast, powerful, and doesn't kill you on stamina. I have level 33 endurance I think, and I can do 5 hit combos which is more than enough to kill most enemies in one combo string. Only downside is that it's only really effective as a 2 handed weapon, which without a shield may be a problem to some.

I fully upgraded the staff and still wasn't even that great. The hitless isn't a bad weapon to upgrade or the spear you get in 5-1 (some weird name I can't remember). But with my last character I just leveled the crap outta my luck and faith and was using the blueblood sword and was doing about +400 damage. I'm gunna just make my next character ridiculously strong and fast.

I'm trying to get the Friend's Ring from the Monumental. At the end of my first game I had just completed the Mephestopheles quest and had PBCT. From my NG, I beat BP Miralda, BP Scirvir, BP Setsuki, BP Rydell, and two invading BP. I'm pretty sure the only named BP is Selen in 5-2 right? Also, according to the official wiki http://www.demons-souls.com/wiki/ CT is +20 towards white for the named BP's and +40 for killing invading BP's.

My quesiton is, obviously it's not running on a 100 point scale, does anyone know point-wise how far negative PBCT is? I went +160 towards white and I'm not at PWCT. Could it be a 200 point scale?

I really have no Idea, this seems weird to me because I never went through killing black phantoms to get White Character Tendency. I just played the game killing bosses and helping other people as a blue phantom and I had no problems getting PWCT. What version of the game do you have?

Ok, just wondering because I never went through all that stuff to get PWCT. But I'm not sure if it should matter what version, I was just curious.

If you were playing online and your world was repeatedly invaded ,everytime you defeated an invading BP your CT would of moved towards PW hence you got PWCT without even trying

Yea that might be it, but like I said I just killed bosses, helped people as a blue phantom and killed the occasional black phantom, so I guess that did it. So I always had it when I needed it, I'm just lucky I guess

I can personally verify it's a 200 point scale, because I did mine offline and it took 10 "named" Black Phantom kills to go from Pure Black to Pure White.

The named Black Phantoms being Miralda, Scirvir, Satsuki, Rydell, and Selen.

Then it makes sense. I would have to either kill one more invading BP or do Selen and Miralda in NG+. I think i'll try killing an invading BP

I think 1-3 and 2-2 or 3-3 are the best for invading black phantoms.

1-3 is cool, I like that level. I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere, but what is the penalty to the body form player, when an invading BP enters their world and kills them?

For example, killing an invading BP will raise CT towards white. Does losing to an invading BP drag it down towards black?

Hmmm...I thought that you invading as the black phantom drags down your character tendancy.

If you die from anything in body form that worlds tendency goes towards black. If you invade someone, even if you don't win it goes towards black. This is all from memory though, haven't played in ages.

I dont believe it brings your CT down, but you do lose souls.

if your killed in body form in your world by invading BP your World tendancy moves towards black, this is because you're a damn p***y

A weird thing happened yesterday. I was playing 4-1, summoned 2 blue phantoms, fought and killed Vanguard, then once we went through the first fog gate, the notification of being invaded popped up. Within 2 seconds the BP was fighting us. During the fight, I pulled to the side, used Warding, which at that moment the BP was killed by one of the blue phantoms.

My 2 questions are how did the BP get to us so fast, and does only the guy who deals the killing blow move towards white in CT? I didn't land the killing blow, and my CT stayed where it was.

The good news is that I finally got pure darkmoonstone

It doesnt take very long to run from the start of 4-1 to Vanguard and mabye the ivnasion warning was delayed for say 30 seconds that would give the invading BP time to be nearly on top of you

Yes you must get the killing blow.
