Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

The game is cool. But after taking a clan to level 50 in mw3 I kind of lost interest.

Is there any advantage to having season pass other than saving $10 down the line? The reason I ask is I can see myself getting map packs, but moving onto other things by the time map pack 3 and 4 come out? I already have nuketown zombies from the hardened edition.

Also, after max prestiging, I tried out the single player campaign. I was not expecting the graphics to be that good. A big improvement over Black ops 1.

I'm actually quite surprised how well designed they are, they are better than most of the maps that came with the game.

Hydro(?) B on Domination on that map pisses me the **** off Grind is pretty good, again B is a nightmare.

The other two are pretty well balanced. Can't say I'm too fnd of the new SMG, seems kinda meh.

But I've got a thing for the shotty lately though so maybe thats why my SMG love has died

What's your opinion (or anyone else for that matter) of the new Zombies map? haven't bought it yet myself and won't be getting it until some time next week probably. I want to know that the new map is a good one, and not a return to the kind of form we got with the mediocre Shangri la. Thanks.

The new map "Die Rise" is very entertaining. It's spread over (10 floors, I think) on two different buildings, and it's more like a maze than a regular map. There is a new perk to use, and an old one returning from Black Ops 1.

I played it for a few hours last night with a few friends, and we had a great time. We put it on easy to just explore the map and STILL couldn't find everything, but we've got it pretty well mapped out.

I highly recommend it if you enjoy playing zombies.

I played a bit of it split-screen with a buddy. We kept dieing when we got to the hole in the wall with the power symbol. Got dark in there and couldn't find out way then we got swarmed.

Tried the Turned mode as well, again just 2 people. Its was a blast! The zombie moves really fast and comes out of no where when you are the one trying to shoot. It would be really fun with a full party, by the looks of the scoreboard at the end there maybe room for 8 in a match. Only the one map though.

Is anyone else experiencing matchmaking taking forever?

Not sure if it is in regards to the new map pack being in rotation, trying to find others who have the dlc, or not.

I don't like the new zombie maps. Now Ascension and Dir Riese, those were great zombie maps!

Die Rise is absolutely fantastic, and continues to evolve the Zombies experience rather than rehash formula. Jimmy Zelinski entrust the players to let him loosen the creative bonds and make something that is a bit different, and with this latest map he succeeds brilliantly.

Yes, Ascension and Der Riese were good, but they followed the formula of 'Hold off in location and then circle around'. Good for thier time, but the game needed to evolve. Die Rise is nothing short of amazing, with the verticallity at it's heart awesome. Using the Lift Shaft's as secondary transport is brilliant, as is the Flingers to get you from building to building. I'm going to be playing long after losing interest in Tranzit/Green Run.

4 of us will go to fire up Die Rise and it still tries to find a lobby and leaves out everyone but the party leader. Also when the party leader attempts to fire up the game the other 3 can't hear him anymore.

They also have not addressed the helicopter noise yet....
