Skirmish (3 vs 3) matches seem to be the quickest CM per min.

Control can match Skirmish's Crucible Marks per min... but only if you have a really good team that can hit the 20,000 required Control points quickly. If you get stuck in a close Control game, then your CM per min will drop down to about 40% less than what you would see in Skirmish.

Unsure about the other modes right now.

I have only one found legendary - the Steel Oracle Rocket Launcher.

Total max power is 300, though the last three unlocks require 6 Ascendant Shards each (18 total)!

I love the tagline though below the name...

yep, that is the same one I have
all my decrypted legendary body wear (4 pieces) was either for Hunter or Titan .... and my main guardian is of course a Warlock

That Voice telling you how much you suck in Control matches really grates when you are playing 4 on 6 (because it started 5 on 6 and one guy insta-quit seeing that).

Five consecutive blue engrams to Uncommons.

Sheesh. I'm at L4 with the Cryptarch. I made L1 with Future War Cult until I noticed I had FAR more Vanguard marks than Crucible marks. So Im switching back to make L2/L3 with the Vanguard to be able to buy stuff.

Also, I was able to remarkably boost my kill-to-death ratio in Crucible by using the fusion rifle. It really is a one shot kill if you can dodge the first attack to give you time to charge, and release the shot accurately.

If it makes you feel any better my Crytroll is lvl 12 and still gives me crap loot He turned my strike farming loot into all greens...

why? ... you should be able to compete in the Crucible well before being a level 20 unless PvP isn't your strong suit

Eh, not very good weapons at the moment. Everyone I've went up against has been 20+ on ps3 and they shred me with their abilities and what not.

I have some better weapons so in doing good now though.

Just a comment on my comment below...I think it was going so slowly because I was doing easier stuff and hoping to get good rewards and I rarely did. I just did the Daily Heroic Story and got some pretty good items almost bumping me all the way up to level 25. Of course, doing it solo, it took me a bit to figure out what I needed to do since it wasn't quite like the story mode difficulty-wise but eventually I got it. Ha, died 8 times though (mostly once I summoned the huge robot) but hey, I got to keep the stuff I got during all the attempts so I'm not complaining.

It's one thing for a Legendary Engram to turn into a Blue.

It's another thing entirely for it to turn into a "Requires level 14" blue which is worse than the level 18 Green I'm wearing.

Went cave farming today and these turned up:





Liking that auto rifle and am working on upgrading it.

The mob attacks seem to be random, however you do get a warning ahead of time, or at least I noticed it today. Did not notice them before today though. It appears just above your Super meter, saying "The enemy is moving against each other..." I don't think you get anything special for beating and surviving the swarm though like you would in a public event.

That is the main reason why I started a new character. My Warlock is currently level 14 and once he hits 20 he is going to be the ultimate bad ass. I already have legendary boots, helmet and an exotic chest piece setting in my locker just waiting for him to rank up. Every one of them were acquired by my Hunter when I turned legendary items in to the cryptroll. The sad thing is that I haven't gotten the 1st legendary for my Hunter.

The random battle seems to take the place of the world event that happens in the area every 30 minutes. I haven't been able to figure out if it happens at set times or not though. I wonder if these random battles happen anywhere else that world events occur?

This event occurs in place of a Public event that takes place. I'd rather just take the public event for the chance at ascendant material.

Update 1.0.1.4 - Patch Notes

Summary:
The latest patch for Destiny reduces the difficulty of a number of activities, as well as fixes issues when completing the Vault of Glass.

Missions
Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers

Raids
Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid.

You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch.
