My AMC had the Pirates posters up in the IMAX boxes when I walked in to see Pirates and when I walked out, the Wonder Woman ones were up. Such stunning perfect posters.

I really want to know how WB/DC managed to bungle BVS and SS but are getting this so right marketing wise. (I know the real answer here but I'm not gonna say it.)

If the movie is anything like the trailers, this will be the best DC movie by an order of magnitude and at least in the conversation as one of the best superhero movies.

The marketing for BVS and SS was anything but bungled. In fact, quite the opposite. Those were incredibly well marketed films.

She spends a lot of time tied up in the early comics, Lynda Carter wasn't immune to the perils of rope either.

Marston was a big fan of what he called "sex love training" and submission.

"The only hope for peace is to teach people who are full of pep and unbound force to enjoy being bound... Only when the control of self by others is more pleasant than the unbound assertion of self in human relationships can we hope for a stable, peaceful human society... Giving to others, being controlled by them, submitting to other people cannot possibly be enjoyable without a strong erotic element."

The Lasso of Truth is definitely a submissive device. It forces people to reveal truth and their deepest erotic desires.

I hope you enjoy it! I can't believe that I am less than week away from seeing a major studio Wonder Woman movie! I remember being a little kid and spending time at my grandparents. One of the things I always did was watch Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. Then the fact that Joss Whedon was supposed to be writing a WW movie (and was writing X-Men) got me into comics. I wish I could count how many posts on sites like CBR and Newsarama I made concerning Wonder Woman. Sadly it's now impossible.

But for Hera's sakes, we're getting this awesome film now. I cannot believe it. When I wake up tomorrow, it will be four days, give or take, from seeing Diana, Princess of Themyscira, Wonder Woman on the big screen!

I have LITERALLY waited decades for this. Now it's happening. It's CRAZY!
