There's practically no chance Amazon would honor this. There's only slightly more of a chance this particular site will. But I sure wish I could test them on that!

Agreed, pretty much every bargain hunting website has this posted. The entire UK nation is getting this for £13 from a small company? Can't see it happening

Note that they say on their terms that refunds can take up to 30 days to clear. So they should pick up a bit of interest to go along with all the new e-mail addresses.

Even after posting the deal in the other thread I haven't gone for it. I would have gone with my brothers PayPal account but they don't accept those.

I've never heard about the Hive before, they don't list any of their details about their site and the 'pick up at your nearest book-shop' seems slightly bizarre. If it's still going tomorrow I might try with my card.

That didn't take too long - it now appears in my order history as "Unknown - Product has been removed from our catalogue ()".

Sincerely hope there won't be a lot of farting around with a refund if they've taken it out of my account.

Was worth a punt I suppose.

Have they actually removed it from your account (ie, it's showing as a debit on your statement), or is it just a card authorisation to hold the funds? If it's the latter, they won't need to do a refund, they just won't claim the authorisation and it'll disappear from the system without debiting.

Just had an email, all orders are being cancelled. They only 'reserved' funds against cards so they never received payment or anything and the funds will be reversed in a few days.

If a cancellation email doesn't show up, check your junk mail as mine was in there.
