Where's the link?

If this is accurate then my prediction with the German set is true. That pic was either wrong or they're including other titles in that region.

2 words: OH BABY!

[Show spoiler]Just got done cancelling about 10 pre-orders, now I know I did the right thing.

Shouldn't it be 14 movies, not 12?

Didn't the German set include Shadow of a Doubt? I notice in the picture there's a small poster for Shadow of a Doubt.

Which site has this available for pre-order? Definite must-have for myself!

Thank **** I don't have many pre-orders in October yet. I'll add this to the other 40+ titles I have ordered.

This better be true! I've been waiting for these for ever. Let's hope there's some new extras as well, these films deserve the best.

Yes, it would also have Saboteur and Shadow of a Doubt. 14 titles mirrors the masterpiece DVD collection. This is probably what we'll get here in the states, too. There will likely be a smaller, non-limited edition some time, as well.

Why does nobody ever post a source for information like this.

And was this thread really necessary as you could have just updated the one you posted months ago (also without a source).

KingSimba often gets information direct from the distributors. He is the source.

It's a beautiful set. Would be great if we all got the same one.

Guesses for the price? I'm going to say £129.99.

Firstly KingSimba is a primary contributor so in my experience is to be trusted and indeed would be unlikely to post something without knowing his facts.
And secondly have you been living under a rock? Blu-ray.com underwent a huge loss of their database which essentially erased all forum posts going back several months.

I think that's about right. If it's 150 Euro's.

The German set has The 39 Steps. The rights to witch are held by different distributors in the UK and US. I think ITV have the UK rights and Criterion the US ones.

The German set DOES NOT include 'The 39 Steps'.

I'm hoping that 'Saboteur' and 'Shadow Of A Doubt' are included in the set, especially as the photo clearly shows a card for the latter.

This will be very, very hard to resist. Wish they'd replace Psycho with The 39 Steps though, and give it a decent transfer.

The photo above shows the German set with 39 Steps and North by Northwest. It is possible that the set contents may vary by country.

Hmmm, I don't think that the above image is for the UK release; it's identical to the German release, so I'm guessing it's from there. I looked for pics of the UK version, but I couldn't find any; I wonder if we will get packaging similar to the German release or what.

I'm not understanding. I see The 39 Steps on one of those art cards. Are we assuming those cards contain the BD's?

Hell, maybe I'm just being stupid.

EDIT: No I'm definitely not. Look closely at the page of the book, you can see North by Northwest is coming out of the book itself.
