Pretty sure it's the same T-Rex from Jurassic Park.

That clip really gets me pumped for the new movie though!
The Lost World is almost unwatchable for me, I hated it on my last rewatch in 2015.

So what's the word on Jeff Goldblum? Is his role gonna be as disappointing as it looks in the trailer? He's so subdued and appears to be isolated from the main action.

I had the exact opposite of that. It was my least favorite for a long while, because of the errors, the acrobatics and abrupt ending-scene. But rewatching it because of JW coming out, made me realize how well made it actually is and how great lots of the other scenes are. It's my #2 of the franchise right now.

I always loved the brief raptor scene. The one where is shows the birds eye view and the raptors running through the tall grass.

As much as I agree TLW is the "weakest" of the JP movies (I still like it) the new 4k uhd is stunning and it has made the movie a lot more enjoyable to watch for me.

To me, TLW is mostly unwatchable. When Rex visits the big city, this is when the fun begins.

I think he's only appearing in the one scene that has been teased in the trailers, and most of his dialogue will most likely be already in those trailers. It's probably either in the beginning or end of the movie.

You can include me in the loved it camp, very enjoyable. Sure it had it's moments, but what film doesn't?

He mentioned on the Graham Norton show he’s not in any of the island stuff. Then joked he was still in-character because he was sitting. So that pretty much confirms he’s only in that scene in the trailers.

I’m disappointed by that. I didn’t expect him to be caught up with all the dinosaurs because it would not make sense for him to return a third time but I was hoping he’d have a more significant part other than just giving a warning. I hope it’s a good scene though.

Hopefully it'll pave the way for the main 3 to return to the third movie.

Did people really expect Ian Malcolm to get involved in Dino action again? I don't think so. It makes perfect sense and in complete character for him to only appear at a court hearing in regards to dinosaur rights.

I don't have a problem with Malcolm being there for just a minute or so. But I do think they shouldn't announce this as big news way upfront, creating these huge expectations among fans. Let it be a surprise, for god sakes. And don't put a brief moment of that brief moment in the trailer. But I guess with how spoilery every single thing is today when it comes to movies, surprises are a thing from the past.

This poster was designed by a fan named Nima Nakhshab after his classic Drew Struzan inspired JW2 posters caught the attention of J.A Bayona. The director then commissioned an official JW2 poster from him, which is this one. I have seen all this develop over the past months on Twitter. It was very inspiring. What I love about this poster is the more textured feel to it. The beautiful red colour tone recalls both the posters of Apocalypse Now and Jurassic Park (the one with the silhouetted tropical trees against a setting sun). It's far better than the highly glossy and texture-less designs of the early official posters of JW2.
