Considering I've only been collecting since last year, and I have very little cash (I'm a 17 year old who can't seem to find a job anywhere), I'm pretty happy so far.

I've had to move some of my TV on DVD into boxes in a closet, because of space issues. Now that I'm moving into a new place, I want to make sure I have access to everything without it taking over my house.

I currently have 1,200 blu-rays, 300 DVDs, and 250 TV on DVD boxsets.

If anyone has a collection that is comparable or larger, I'd love to see how you are storing all of these.

BTW: I'm not interested in putting them in binders.
Well as you can see by my HT Gallery I just kind of stick them where I can find room since I don't really have any proper storage or for that matter places to put more storage shelving units. Have a lot of walls that have those ledges though so those help a little at least And that only accounts for the Blu-Ray and PS3 games and not the 1,000+ DVD and probably around 2,000+ games on other systems

Once had plans to convert a spare room into a room for nothing but storing movies and games but it turned into a home gym instead so my collection is going to be an unorganized mess unless I move

Just out of interest, how long do you think us collectors could continue to enjoy our blurays if bluray was made obsolete in a few years? Would the best option be to buy a ps3 just for blurays and a ps4 (if it supports bluray) and finally a oppo if all three are affordable? I plan on enjoying my films for another decade at least. however, i worry that if bluray disappears i may not have reliable machines to continue watching them for many many years.

I highly doubt there will be a next format, at least for the next 10+ years.
Bluray3D isnt doing very well and the next step would be HIDEF digital, so I don't see the need to worry about that.

1920 x 1080 will probably be it for the next decade. I'd love to see a 4K physical format, but I'll probably be 50 before such a format even exists and even then it won't be a physical medium.

BD has plenty of life left in it and millions of machines will continue to be made for years to come. You won't outlive your ability to play BD.
