Well the saving grace was going to be Bayona directing. But with Trevorrow still be the writer, there is only so much one can do when you have to work with another stupid script. So I'm not hoping for much.

Call me cynical, but that's probably a good attitude to have when it comes to big blockbusters like this.
That way, if the movie sucks you won't be as disappointed, and if it's good/great you'll be even more pleased with it.

I went into Jurassic World with very low expectations and I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it.
On the other hand, I've gone into films like The Dark Knight Rises with very, very high expectations and they ended up sucking.

As for the reviews... They could've been better, and they could've been worse. Big shrug. It doesn't change my anticipation one iota.

I'm just not going to read any reviews. The movie has dinosaurs and has a more horror imprint which I'm excited about. I'm going to go in with no expectations and just enjoy another dino movie (with popcorn). Hell, I think Dinosaurus! is great so I'm sure JW2 will be a fun time.

Critics weren't that favoriable with the first Jurassic World, doesn't surprise me that they're not favorable with this one either. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more than any other movie this year.

I'm seeing this for two reasons:

Dinosaurs
Pratt's ass in tight pants

Even the recent dolby poster got that right, focus on the dinosaurs and have Pratt turned so the first thing you notice is a dino's teeth near that juicy backside.

Same. JW was just poorly written for the human characters. It wasted a great cast and it's starting to look like they did the same thing here.

Consensus seems rather quick but here goes:

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom adds another set piece-packed entry to the blockbuster franchise, although genuinely thrilling moments are in increasingly short supply.

Well, I just tried the "Blue Grilled Steak" Doritos, and for those of you who are curious, they have a kind of smokey taste to them.
Not bad, but not great either.

This movie is going to awesome. I have few doubts. It looks great and Bayona is a incredible director. The negative reviews are mostly from people who are probably sick of these films. I doubt diehard Jurassic Park fans will be disappointed considering the talent in the director's chair.
