Don't worry, I'm boycotting for the same reason. They should have just either done a sequel to Rise Of The Silver Surfer or let the rights revert back to Marvel.

It won't end up good to me. Lame cast, shitty story line and since the budget was tight I'm sure the CGI will be subpar. My 8 year old son loves superhero and transformers movies. I showed him the trailer and even he knows garbage when he sees it.

I am only boycotting until Marvel gets back the FF and the sooner everyone gets on board the quicker it will happen . Silver Surfer has a date there with a boy band called the Annihilators .

One thing I can say is The Thing looks way better in this than the previous films.

I saw the preview again yesterday when I went to see Mad Max. It didn't help. I hope it bombs so Fox will consider selling them back to Marvel.

I'm hoping it bombs so that Marvel can get the rights. Then I hope the Marvel version bombs so that Asylum can get the rights. And then I hope it bombs so that Carolco (Vajna, Kassar) can return to buy the rights. Then I hope it does well because Carolco was an awesome company that produced awesome, memorable films.

Fox might miss them on the Monday after opening weekend... maybe.

We'll see. If it does poorly, it will teach Fox and all involved that accusing your fanbase of being racists and/or losers and saying "they'll see it anyway" isn't the best way to market a movie.
