There’s PS5s at my local Target. I feel like I should buy one out of sheer principle. I’ve been casually wanting one all these two years.

Now that you can get them I am no longer interested

Ha, yeah. I brought it up to my wife and we agreed I probably don’t need it right this minute.

But once the PSVR 2 launches, I’m pretty sure I’ll want it. Debating if I should just have it for when that happens.

Plus I literally bought multiple 4K Blu-rays years ago and still don’t have a player. Really want to watch my imported Dawn of the Dead (1978) 4K disc.

The vr2 really pisses me off. Can't play any psvr1 games on the psvr2 which would have helped it for a selling point. And then the thing is only $50 cheaper then the ps5 itself. I have the first psvr headset and I enjoyed it but the novelty wore off after a month or so. I got it after a year of release too so I got to experience a good selection of games. And it was nice you could use the move controllers from the ps3. Saved me a little bit of money that way. And I got the headset bundled with Doom VR for $200.

$550 is a little nuts. Don't think I'd want to pay more then $300 for the vr2. Hopefully it gets to that price after a couple years. By then there will be a lot more games out too..not going to buy a vr headset for just Horizon.

Last year, during the first 30 minutes to an hour of the sale, I was able to get all the pre-order items I wanted on the deal and realized it may not last so I checked out quickly.

None were cancelled but shortly after that window, only a few were available the rest of the way.

Not sure if it was a glitch or whatever but I went for it, so be ready for anything.

This year could be none or a few available but strike fast and early regardless!

Crazy I bought the Ps5 disc edition last year and forgot about it, haven't even opened it. It was the playstation store invitation deal. I should have sold it when you could sell them for decent money. Ah well, maybe I'll buy the ghost of tsushima that I hear is really good and finally open it.

Nope didn't drop in price, and as of right now it's also not in the B2G1 sale.
