KLI - Do you expect any future releases from the 2014 Palisades Tartan distribution deal? The announcement at the time mentioned select titles would receive limited theatrical releases while others would receive BR and digital releases under the Palisades Tartan label.

Does KL still hold the rights to those titles? Apologies if this has been addressed but I hadn't seen any updates in some time. Thanks!

No, we may look into acquiring the rights in 2020, but no guarantees. We have a commentary and recorded an interview with the lead actor and paid for an HD master, so it should eventually happen. Most likely a new HD transfer from the camera negative, the previous one was a 2K from a print.

One's a SC title, the other is an independent one. Both are 1960s horror films.

No. We still hold the rights, but have run into some unforeseen issues.

Nobody's making fun of anyone. I'm just surprised that there are fans on this thread who have not heard of 95% of the KL releases.

Okay, this is random as hell (like my previous request for It Came Upon the Midnight Clear with Mickey Rooney and Scott Grimes, which Kino already confirmed isn't in their plans, crushing Christmas TV movie dreams everywhere). Any chance for the forgotten Gary Coleman gem The Kid With the 200 IQ even on DVD alone? (I already know the answer, but it's worth a try to put it out there in the universe in case competitors are also lurking in this thread and looking for ideas.)

I'm not familiar with a majority of the titles you announce, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in them. I currently have over 120 Kino releases in my collection (and that's not counting the many I've had but sold or traded after watching them), and for most of them, I didn't know much if anything about them until I saw that Kino was releasing them. You release a ton of different titles from all eras and genres, so I can't imagine many people are automatically familiar with all of them.
