![]() I would think they would keep to the books when it concerns him since it would mean less CGI work, since he'd just be a cloaked figure. |

![]() The biggest change I'm trying to figure out from last year is how they do the Purple Wedding/Trial with Jamie already back in the city. His actions in the book don't make much sense if he witnesses everything. |

Yeah that will interesting to see what changes. I remember seeing him show up at the end of the season, thinking wait you're not supposed to be here yet.

I presume (based on the previews) that they wanted Jaime to take the place of Kevan, counseling Tyrion during his trial. It's a good way to show the television audience the closeness of their relationship.

It is possible that the first appearance by LSH might actually be her Feast for Crows scene with Brienne, and not with the Frey's as in the ending of Storm of Swords. This would avoid a convoluted, "Previously on..." segment to reintroduce the Frey's. |

I could definitely see that as a possibility. That would be a big reveal moment to have her first appear after Brienne is captured, but personally, I would love to see a scene with them dragging her out of the water and Beric Dondarrion sacrificing his own life to resurrect her.

It can end the season or it can end an episode, but: Show Beric et al walking along the creek when they look to the side and freeze. They walk over and surround something. Beric looks over at Thoros who just nods his head. The camera zooms in past everyone to show Cat's mangled body and then her eyes open. And the credits roll. |

Now, if they'd specifically said that LS wasn't going to appear, then I'd worry. But as the saying goes, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. |

It's been pretty faithful to the books. My biggest problems with the show is the characterization of Stannis and Loras. Also wasn't to fond of them betraying Ramsay as a ladies man.

![]() Otherwise, the changes haven't been too bad. I really liked Arya's interactions with Tywin is S2. I think the show has been successful in adapting the books to the medium of television, which can be tough since a lot of the character development happens in thoughts within the novels. |

It took three kings to die for Stannis to let Melisandre burn Edric (a kid he didn't even like, since his conception is what supposedly left Selyse without sons). And even then, he told Melisandre "Are you sure this will work? If it doesn't, you'll pay with your life." In the show, he decides to sacrifice Gendry after only Robb dies. His portrayal in season 3 was butchered. I love Stephen Dillane's performance, but I feel that the writing has pretty much missed a lot of the good qualities of his character. Season 2 was better, but still pretty meh.
