Kickboxer or Bloodsport? I've got a Timecop/Bloodsport twin pack but don't think I've seen a Kickboxer one!

No. Mill Creek is a budget studio. They cut corners whenever and wherever possible. I mean, they're cramming 5 movies onto 2 discs in this new JCVD set. What does that tell you? Their releases usually don't even include subtitles.

Yeah, remember Goodtimes releases back in the day on DVD? Goodtimes was a small budget company that put out some pretty cheap releases. Many of them lacked special features and had just average PQ and AQ. That's pretty much what Mill Creek is for Blu-ray.

Those three movies are crammed onto one disc. This set takes the existing Second in Command/Unisol: The Return double feature and adds a disc with the new movies.

Sad thing is I only own one JCVD movie and that's Death Warrant. Would love to upgrade all my JCVD dvds to blu-rays.
I need Cyborg and Double Impact so I can sell my triple features Cyborg/Death Warrant/Double Impact dvd. Also I need Bloodsport to sell my Double features Bloodsport/Ninja Assassin dvd. Then eventually start buying/upgrading the other JCVD movies. |

I just finished watching my Blu-ray of Hard Target.
Hard Target has always been my favorite Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, and it brings back great memories of the early 1990s, when I used to see it on cable pay channels. This film was my introduction to director John Woo, whose Hong Kong films I would not have a chance to see until a few years later. This film was also my introduction to the beautiful and talented Yancy Butler. All of the characters in Hard Target are likable in their offbeat ways, even Lance Henriksen and Arnold Vosloo's villains, and that's part of the draw. More than anything, though, I love the settings of New Orleans and the surrounding bayou. This Blu-ray is a huge step up from my old DVD, and I never imagined that the film would look this great. A closer examination of the transfer might find some faults, as the site review indicates, but I was simply enjoying the movie itself during tonight's viewing, and I was quite impressed at the picture quality. I know I'm still missing "Welcome to the Jungle" in my collection, but I'm happy so far:
