Sounds about right, the third set of Ranma ½ is coming out in Sept. That's 3 sets in a year. If Sailor Moon follows the same schedule, it might get 3 (or possibly 4) in a single year.

I can see 4 sets a year maybe even 5. There is no way in hell they take until 2018 to get it fully released.

I think it should be mentioned that every season of Sailor Moon is not the same length.

Sailor Moon - 46 episodes
Sailor Moon R - 43 episodes
Sailor Moon S - 38 episodes
Sailor Moon SuperS - 39 episodes
Sailor Moon Sailor Stars - 34 episodes

Yeah that could make a difference. The first season is the longest, so maybe 3 to 4 sets a year is possible. Especially if waiting until November to release the first set gave them a head start on the dub like I am hoping. I mean Amazon even has on their website that the second set will be released early 2015 which I am guess is between January to March.

January - Season 1 Part 2
April - R Part 1
July - R Part 2
October - S Part 1
December - S Part 2

Super S, Stars, the Movies and Part 1 of Crystal in 2016.

Considering that they probably only dub 1-2 episodes a week, I don't think that it will come that fast. Although, I would love that schedule to actually happen (I just want my Stars in HD, dammit!)

They've most likely been working on the dubbing since they announced the acqusition. I see no reason it couldn't come at that schedule.

In another forum someone said that Jupiter's VA has said she should start any day now, so they must be close to episode 25. So it is possible that waiting until November to release the first set is giving them a head start. 5 sets in one year does seem a bit unlikely, but 3 to 4 maybe very likely.

This breakdown is pretty close to what I was expecting myself... so my guess is pretty much aligned with yours! Here's hoping.

Just remember the 2-3 months in between the releases will give them plenty of time to record the dubs. Another factor is the lead time that they had to start recording. They've probably been going at it pretty hard for at least a month and most likely longer then that. With 3 months left until the release of the first set they will most likely have the entire first season dubbed before it's release. Given a lead time of possibly 5 months before the release of the first set of R it's entirely possible they will be into the dubbing of S at that point.

Well you have officially got me optimistic now! The lead they have going into the first set could make all the difference.That would make a world of difference on when we could get Crystal dubbed.
