Supposedly, it does look great, does have fixes, and seems to be a 4k scan.

The audio is another matter and will depend on a person's system and its capabilities as to determining whether it is another Atmouse abomination.

I have a nice, older system but it's not configured for ATMOS yet so I haven't experienced the Disney mixes. From all the reactions it sounds terrible. You'd figure they'd want to get it right

They often mix for TV speaker and soundbar reproduction, not for high end home theaters. A mix like Blade Runner 2049 will tax all but the best speakers and subs. It is a wonderful monster.

Since this is suppose to be the Ultimate Collerctors Edition, one would hope that the image galleries are on the Blu-ray Disc, right?

Doesn't sound terrible to me. Sounds extremely similar to the previous 7.1 mix to my ears but with some overhead channel usage.

I don’t know if any of you follow printflips on insta, but he creates lenticular magnets for steelbooks. I’ve purchased several times from him. Anyway, while I’m glad Paige O’Hara is so talented, I still find the cover a little dopey... so, I’m glad I ordered the 3D lencticular magnet (of the previous cover).

From the pictures it looks like a digipak + paperback glossy book. There is a video playing on the monitors at Target showing that when the book is closed it has a variation of the original theatrical poster on the front of the book like the one below.

Just ordered this on DMC but it is going to be tough to get rid of my Diamond Edition. I have all the Diamond Editions and don't want to get rid of them.

Yeah just looked that is a lot. I have never even watched the extras lol. I'll just keep the Diamond. I didn't get Lion King 4K but Little Mermaid 4K looks like a great upgrade.

As these Disney 4ks roll in the Diamond Editions get packed away. I can't get rid of them. Heck, I have the clamshell VHS editions somewhere safe.

Keeping them -- pretty much like the Platinum and even Gold editions of some of them.

Keeping both since not all special features from Diamond Editions are porting over to the new Walt Disney's Signature Edition.
