Well, that's big news. UHD is really taking off. I still remember going to see this when it came out. I didn't expect to like it, cause it seemed like it was kind of a girl's movie, but boy when "Under the Sea" came on I was dancing in the aisle. That song is kind of infectious. I was just 6, but it seems like not so long ago. Damn, I'm old now. It happens fast.

Was hoping this would come to 4K, was watching Ralph Breaks The Internet two days ago and Ariell is featured in that....that was a very funny scene

Will buy this if picture quality is good.

This is awesome news indeed! Was anybody able to pre-order from target? I am able to add to cart, but I keep getting redirected back to my cart after I click "place my order".

Wow yes, never owned this movie for some reason (despite probably knowing all the songs by heart...), so I’ll cancel that Mondo Steelbook and get this instead.

I told myself I wouldn't upgrade my blurays to 4K and I'd only buy 4Ks for purchases going forward. Also just bought Lion King on 4K for last week. Now I'm saying okay, but only for Disney

Along with Lion King, I'll gladly upgrade Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin. I'll stick with the BD for all the other Disney animated features.

even thought this came out of the blue - thank you Disney - I'd think we'll see Aladdin when the live action comes out theatrically or later for the home video release of said version.

Nice! I still have all the Disney clam cases packed away somewhere. Might be time to sell them and my 3D Diamond edition as well. Any idea when it might be released? I'll probably go the BB steelbook route but that storybook looks sweet. Of course they had to show the "Kiss the Girl" page which is a top 3 Disney song for me...

You think you feel old?! I was in high school when this came out. I feel more ancient than I do old though. I'd kill to be "old" again.
