To boost faction rep, bounties are great and you can wear class items for a specific faction BUT if you complete the nightfall at the start of the week, not only will you get cool rewards, rep etc. you'll gain a 20% boost to rep, experience and glimmer I believe.

I meant in total, I maxed out 100 launch week, maxed 100 again last week so had 200 Crucible Marks total. But this week I can't earn any more Crucible marks because you can't hold more than 200 at any given time, like the glimmer limit. Any you earn once you hit the cap are wasted.

Ohhhh, I see what you mean. I guess that's to prevent people from getting too overpowered too fast?

The weekly cap of 100 means it would take you three weeks at least to get a set of armour. I don't see why there needs to be a 200 total cap on Marks when you can't get them any faster since you're limited to 100 a week anyway. Just really annoying that you have to spend them on stuff you don't even need. But I guess it's going to help me get more ascendant material,

or will Bungie nerf that like they did with the Queens Wrath

A huge thank you to Bizdady! After wrapping up another Raid fail last night, I saw him in the Nightfall Strike with an empty slot and jumped in, around 3 am here. I think it's too easy for him, so for the extra challenge, it's good to take someone like me along so he has to kill all the enemies and revive the fireteam. I learned a lot about that strike. And that if you're playing with Bizdady, jut do what he says, and it will go just fine. If I'm thanking Bizdady, I should also pass thanks to Scarletknight, since I yanked him away from his game the other knight to save me from the final boss in the heroic story mission on 28. I could not finish off the final statue myself.

Despite not beating the Raid, I think we will get it tonight. We moved people around into new responsibilities and got incredibly close a couple of times. Probably one more trip through the portal and he would have been dead on two occasions. We would have done it, but with six players, someone always has something like work or family going on.

You guys planning on starting Sunday night need to have some veterans with you, if you plan on beating it before it resets Tuesday morning. If you have room, I'd love to join, too, if my wife lets me keep monopolizing the TV every night. She's a dear and knows what's for the best, for sure.

I'm pretty down about the exotic weapon bounty. I can barely finish a crucible match with a k/d above 1, and I need to accumulate 25 more kills than deaths. A stupid bounty to take, for sure.

I'll be on in a bit. Gonna try and make myself as better as I can before another shot at the Gatekeeper.

Should hear me when I get angry at the cod noobs but we had a good run though. Did 2 more runs this morning to help out some more. Just warming up trying to get ready for Raids. Plus my new gear needed xp so I'm back up to 28 both on offensive and defensive set up.

I was at the very start of the game area, where you begin on Patrol Cosmodrome. Right now I'm back at the tower though turning stuff in. I'll go back to Patrol Cosmodrome in a minute.
