Yes, several have received the "we have escalated your case" response, saying there would be further updates.

If you haven't gotten that in over a week, it's probably time to re-send the email. Or reach out by phone, but I've read that some attendants have no idea how to deal with this and may give wrong info.

After the replacement request is acknowledged, it's still a waiting game.

I glued my package, so it appears nothing happened during shipping

Once I'm all settled I'll go through all the discs! Right now, so much to do, so little time.

We are talked about them in the past few weeks and it's not sure that those scenes effectively exist anymore. Are they in some other releases?

The set arrived here in Sweden today. No damage on the outside, probably due to Amazon shipping it in a box that wasn't too oversized. No airbags or any sort of padding.

All discs accounted for and lights are working fine. the cardboard just above the cases and book was a little squised, likely due to the set shifting around during transport or possibly having the weight of its content on it if they had it wrong way round. A minor niggle compared to previous reports so I have to say I'm glad it turned out as well as it did.

Kicking off with the first film this evening

They still exist. It is only a matter of finding them or more than likely just them withholding scenes. The Fort scene is still missing of them talking to the guard and if they had them going into the Fort in Ecto 1 then they should have it available to see. Sony has an archive in online of stock footage from both films I posted awhile back. That would be weird to save those but not main actor scenes. But who knows.

Watching the dailies, I wish they had kept in the additional line about burning the firehouse for insurance money and Egon falling asleep. Sony should've have had the whole ShowWest reel uncensored too, a lot of great bits cut out cause they cursed and referenced hookers.

Is there a place to watch the whole thing?

It's been uploaded to YouTube, hookers and swearing intact ("it's a PG, I'm ****in' tellin' ya!"), I thought it was the same as what I'd seen already on the 2019 bonus disc. Be a shame if they've edited it as there's no reason to do so, there aren't many sensitive ickle kiddies who are going to be devouring the contents of these bonus discs, only us big kids.

Edit: boo-urns, even on the 2019 bonus disc it’s had the f-bomb dialled out and the more risqué jokes removed. Damn. Full version of the Bill and Dan stuff (minus the movie clips) is here, it’s got some early Ghostbusters theme on it which was also removed for the bonus disc(s) version due to rights/money issues:

A quote from GBFans about the TV edits in the set.

Quote:
I think someone was asking about the TV versions. Definitely not the originals. Paul Rudoff figured it out.

For the GB1 TV version, that is not the September 1987 one but a late 90s TV edit. He says you can tell by
-First, the word "ass" is left in two times, instead of being cut out ("you guys have been running your ass off meeting and greeting") or replaced (with "knockabout of pure fun"). "Ass" was fine to use in the late 1990s, but definitely not in 1987. -The artificial camera pans are done digitally. They are unnaturally smooth compared to the way they would have been done in 1987.
-The mid-to-late 1990s Columbia TriStar Television Distribution logo appears at the end. That didn't exist in 1987.
-The end credits are in letterbox. In 1987, they would have been squeezed into 4:3 fullscreen. By the late 1990s, they didn't bother doing that and just cut from the 4:3 pan-and-scan version of the movie to 4:3 letterboxed end credits

Then for the GB2 TV version, he says that's the TV syndicated version and not the 1992 ABC broadcast version.
-If it were from 1992, the runtime should be a lot closer to 1 hour and 48 minutes (theatrical cut).

I've gotta say, I've got loads of those 'end credits embiggening into widescreen' moments burned into my brain from watching so many movies as a kid. When getting to the end of GBII it's always a slight shock to my noggin that it's in widescreen already, as IIRC the letterbox borders started cinching in when Winston notices the new painting after they've blown up Vigo and tells the guys to come take a look.

It's like the lights coming up early in a movie theatre.

What?
No, Paul did not figure it out, not unless he's a member here.
We figured it out.
We noticed it wasn't the original tv cut, we noticed it was a 2000s era cut.
He just has more publicity than us forum members.

They make no mention who figured it out first or from any specific place online. Also, it was said for those on that forum and not this one. I only just posted for conformation to those here who noticed it wasn't the original tv cut with a more specific answer they gave there.

Anyone else still waiting on their Amazon preorder? I ordered mine on 1/2 and haven't heard a peep.

For those who missed it, Spook Central compiled a list of all the changes made to the extras on the 4K steelbook:

Wow! Really impressed with Amazon Germany with their packaging for the collector's set. It came in a box marked fragile. Inside the box had bubble wrap. This box was then packaged in a second larger box. Arrived mint. Well done Amazon Germany.

Geoff do you know if this uncensored version is in some previous release?
