They're all better than the BD's but JP 1 & 3 can still look a hell of a lot better.

I noticed in Lost World that there’s a minor frame jump when the T-Rex is appearing in the little boys window for the first time. That’s about an hour and forty nine minutes in I believe. Replicated on two different Lost World UHD discs. Not a big deal but I noticed it.

Thanks! But the Lost World and JP3 has been remastered on Blu-ray right?

I think they are remastered. Although JP might not be very noticeable. And it's not the same color grading as the 2013 3D remaster.
The Lost World has a definite improvement.

I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me, but since installing the latest beta firmware for the oppo 203, with the dolby vision processing in the player and not in the tv, JP3 has gotten much better. Before, I was seeing the grey mess many of you here were reporting. Now, sent as a dv signal, it's still not a revelation, but the greens are back and looks pretty decent. Oppo paired with Oled B7-55P. Anyone else?

If you're aksing about the 1080p Blu-rays then they are all the exact same ones as before. You're aware that there was a JP1 2D Blu-ray available before the 3D version, yes?

JP1 without DNR-ing? lol no

Hiya,
Yeah, I own the 2011 Blu-ray trilogy release, which is the 1st release. And then came the 2013 3D remaster release only for JP1 (which I don't like because of the color grading although the PQ is better), and as you can see there have been 3 individual releases for the trilogy in 2015

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-L...lu-ray/126130/
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Juras...lu-ray/125414/

..in the back cover where all of them state 'Digitally remastered'. Now although JP1 had a remaster in 3D, the other 2 wasn't 'remasters' in the 2011 release as it was the original release right? So, I would think that these remasters are the current proper releases yeah? Or was is just a marketing gimmick where they were just repackaged the old discs with the word 'remastered' plastered over? That being said, why would the 25th anniversary release go back to the 2011 releases if they were all remastered in 2015?
So confused. Sorry if I'm chasing my own tail.

There have never been "remasters" of ANY the 2D Jurassic Park discs. Exact. Same. Discs.

To echo what Geoff has said the currently available Blu-rays are the exact same discs as released back in 2011, they can repackage them all they want and describe them however they want but they have not changed.

Watched JP1 and TLW. The first one is okay I guess. Very subtle HDR. Soft CGI but I'm fine with it. TLW on the other hand has some really good use of HDR. Apart from a couple of soft scenes there's a noticeable uptick in detail. Good black levels and TLW I thought got a nice upgrade in colors. For once Universal managed to release an actual upgrade!

There is no Dolby Vision on these titles AFAIK.

Indeed, they're just HDR10, but with the latest firmware, the Oppo 203 can process Blurays and HDR UHDs as Dolby Vision and send a DV signal to the TV. Just finished watching the film, looked halfway decent

Man, why does this have to be one those digibook things where the disc slide out of the package like the Alien set. That's annoying.

I don't own any of these films.... I suspect this set will get re-released since more sequels are coming out and so I might just pick up the blu ray of Jurassic Park and wait for this set to come out with a package that is more to my liking.

Can you elaborate on this? Do you play it passed directly and it looks noticeably less impressive as standard HDR10?

I got this as a gift so going to just put the UHDs in my BD cases. They are worth nothing to sell anyway.

You’d have thought with such a prized asset as Jurassic Park, Universal would have gone the extra mile and done a full restoration + 4K scan.

It also surprises me that Spielberg himself doesn’t exhibit more of an interest in the home presentation of his past films. He seems to be a guy who can twist the arm of people when he wants to.
