Hows things Joe?Was Taken 2 as aweful as one imagines?

For what it's worth: Don't buy the new Total recall. It was just a generic action movie devoid of intelligence.Much like Die hard 4

Have you seen Django unchained yet?

Hello Russ. There's not even enough left to bother with really. I'll be killing it off tonight.

Thanks mate im also doing good although my purchasing of hum eliminator devices ended up more confusing that i had hoped for.

I tried changing/deleting orders on amazon.de. All but the last one got deleted quickly enough. The last order which where two Behringer HD400's im not sure if got deleted..It took all day before they deleted the order but by then i had already gotten another notice from them that they had shipped it off.. Strange i don't know which one of their mails to believe.

In the mean time i had already ordered some adapters for the second device to work with my transducer amp. I would rather do this then having to refuse the package at the door. Doing it that way i would still have to pay for the shipping.

And since i used every last $ on all this and it takes some time for my refunds to come back to my credit card im kind of stuck until i get some funds for the all important cables.

Another thing. The projector still didn't come today but i did get the long waited 178$ customs tax from the new pj screen. Yaaaay.

Maybe you should stop placing orders and then deleting them all the time, and just make an informed decision before hand. I'm just messing with you, but you do seem to be a bit impulsive with purchases.

I'm the exact opposite. I'll get ready to place an order for something, but before I hit the order button, I always freak out and decide I should check more places or do more research or question whether to make the purchase at all. It took me almost six months to finally work up the nerve to order my pj after I had decided that I wanted to go that route.

Congrats on getting the customs tax back!

Yes sometimes when running out of energy i just pull the trigger making me have to stress even more afterword.

Sorry to tell you mate but those 178$ are not a refund. I have to pay it to Fedex.

But i did receive a refund of the 289$ i payed for the shipping of the X3 to the US. Should arrive at my visa in a couple of days.

I'm not sure, and I'm not trying to be an ass, but if you would've been more patient in deciding what you really wanted before commiting to purchases, you would probably have a whole lot more money and nicer equipment. You had the original 6500 pj, then the replacement pj, then your first JVC that you sold, then the X3 that was damaged, then the replacement coming now, and the X30 that you intend to buy. By my calculations, that's six different projectors in the last year, and you're also on your third avr within about a year or so I think, right?

I'm not trying to tell you what to do at all buddy, but I just want the best for you, A/V equipment included. If you just enjoy the hunt and the chase, or just like trying different things and can afford it, then more power to you. Aces High does that all of the time just to see what's out there. I would love to do that myself, but I have a very slim budget to work with, and for the moment, I'm stuck with, but quite happy with what I've got.

So you received $178 from the customs tax refund, but you have to pay that to Fedex, and you will be receiving a refund of $289 from shipping the pj back, but you don't have to pay for return shipping, so that is yours, free and clear, right, and then you ordered several different hum suppressors, but then cancelled some/most/all of them, and some show cancelled and shipped at the same time, and some don't?

and now soon the X30 but then i promise that i'll take a break buddy.

I only had an Onkyo 607 AVR before this one but i sure have acquired lots of other calibration toys just this year.

I started from meager beginnings though.

At first it was just the first analog TV's, VHS and over 100 tapes. When i later got the old 32" LCD that subconsciously must have triggered something in me.

My first dvd player was an Kiss DVD. It was cool because it allegedly was pretty advanced for it's time you could flash it regionfree and it could play a good deal of media files.

Cannot remember if it was called Kiss DP-1000 or 1100 but this is how it looked.

My first DVD/"surround" combo system:

It was fun enough for a couple of years but after this you really need some more dynamics.

Then just before i got my current system i got the Onkyo 607. It only had Auddesey 2EQ and was pretty budget in therms of power also.

I paired it with an Argon setup. Very cheap but still miles better sound than what i was coming from.
