I didnt watch last year but after hearing him sing as a guest this season he was terrible. We agree there atleast! Haha! Alicia Keys was great lastnight by the way! I love her. Got Em!!

I was finally getting that horrible pain in my ears gone and you reminded me about it all over again....








I listened to Keys for about 30 seconds before I moved on. Didn't like it. Hated the Black Eyed Peas song, didn't like Elton John....basically, I liked Carrie Underwood's singing and that was it.

What else is new? Alicia Keys is one the greatest singers of our time! She is super great to me. Now on the other hand I cant stand Carrie Underwood but hey we do disagree a lot on singers so I guess its normal. We both seem to only like Lee, and I guess we both like Big Mike to. Other than that we havnt agreed. My track record has been better than yours so far especially with the Katie vs Crystal/Siobhan! Hahahahahahaah! Sorry Diesel! Got Em!!

I think it's funny how some of the guest performers suck even worse than most of the Idol contestants.

Well....thanks to our wonderful legal system, I had to DVR this week.

Lee - My favorite Shania song......great arrangement, slightly pitchy, but damn good!

Mike - Not bad for putting an R&B spin on a country song.

Casey - Decent but not spectacular.

Crystal - Meh....sounded like a random song playing on a jukebox in a bar that no one is listening to.

Aaron - Sounded kinda karaoke-ish

Siobhan - Was awesome until she got to that scream....that was the definition of pitchy tonight. Overall, pretty darn good!

First night, that I didn't like Krystal....

I thought this was the best overall week of the season by far.


Lee - Great, one of his best so far.

Mike - Great.

Casey - Top dog of the night He absolutely killed it, easily his best of the season.

Crystal - I hated it. I don't know the song but the music sounded just downright weird, she was incredibly boring and didn't sound good at all.

Aaron - He also had his best of the season, he was pretty darn good.

Siobhan - I'm going to blow CZAR's mind with this one....I liked it!! She did quite good except for one of those screams at the end that sounded very off.


If we're talking over all for the season, I would send Siobhan packing.
If we're talking based on ONLY tonight, I would send Crystal packing.

My take on tonight and predictions for tomorrow:

Lee - He sang the only country song I like period! Loved it.

Mike - I thought it was very good and on point.

Casey - This was his best performance atleast within the last couple of weeks but not overall.

Crystal - Wow her first subpar performance and bad arrangment and song choice. Uh oh.............

Aaron - He is always pretty good but not great.

Siobhan - Yall already know, she is brilliant and love everything about her. She hits notes that no one can.

This was a great week but then again we are down to the top 6 so as we get closer and we only have the top talent thats expected.

Boy was that tough. I hate putting Mike in the bottom three but he should be safe with Aaron goin home. Crystal may have been the worst tonight but she has been the best just about everynight or right there so I cant put her in the bottom. Tomorrow is gonna be bananas and I cant wait to see my girl Shakira! Got Em!!

My favs for the night were Big Mike and Casey.

I didn't really mind Crystals song...yeah it wasn't one of her best but you could still really tell that girl's got some serious talent!

Again, I'm still getting use to the names but the girl at the end (Siobhan) I just did not enjoy her song. I agree with Diesel on that scream near the end was just odd.

Maybe. If anyone besides Aaron goes home I still wont get all 5 right though. But for sure Siobhan would be huge is she went home. I dont see that at all. Got Em!!

This show f#$%en sucks......she was more deserving of the judges save than Mike, easily the better singer. At least she'll still have an album.

It's amazing how everyone in there knew she should not be voted off. Not another Idol has got as much recognition when being voted off.

As for American Idol... I'm not a big Shania Twain fan, so I only watched the first performance last night (kind of surprised that they kicked off the show with her biggest song, because it gave me no reason to sit through the rest).

So I can't really judge the performances from last night.

But I don't think that the show works like that this late into the season anyway. Everyone has their fan base locked in, and I think everyone's position is now pretty much set.

So from the season as a whole, I'm kind of surprised Siobhan got voted off.

I was really expecting the young kid to get voted off this week, but maybe he has a bigger fan base than I realize. I guess the teenage girl vote is huge, and he probably gets the most of it out of the remaining contestants (and probably gets Tim Urban's votes now).

So let's see, the five left are (I don't know their names):

-the big black dude
-the hippie girl
-the young kid
-the blonde haired guy that Kara likes
-the guy that reminds me a lot of the widower guy from last year

I see them finishing in this order:

5th -- the big black dude
