Priorities change and, like you, it is not as important to own movies for me anymore.. I seem to spend my money on traveling, concerts, music, drinking and having fun instead.. And I quite like it.

i was never a huge 'sit inside and do nothing' kind of guy, but now a days i maybe watch a film or two a week at absolute most. just not my thing anymore. hell, i barely even visit this site anymore and usually it's just to check out the sports / general chat threads until someone derails it with depression or a fight lol.

more people should spend time outside, not inside.

as the great Nick Offerman said during his stand up special last weekend, "we have the greatest, most amazing things in the world at our disposal (our bodies) and a large portion of us spend hours using only our thumbs playing Angry Birds on a 3" screen..." so true.

now i'll wait for some shmuck to say, "but, but, but you're on the internet doing nothing right now!" as if i insulted them personally for not wanting to spend money on things that mean nothing and give no lasting value

It isn't supposed to hit here until 11am. We're getting an estimated 5-7 inches of snow. I was going to go see JTGS 3D on the eXtreme Screen later today since it's $5.00 Tuesday. If the snow does come, there's no way I'll be out on the roads. I'm still not completely counting it out as they've predicted inches here before and all we got was a light dusting.

I also saw Warm Bodies and enjoyed it, and will be picking it up then on blu ray.

It does. Foy Vance - Be The Song has been on repeat since I saw it. I used to play the hell out of John Waite's Missing You...and when R started playing it I knew I was going to love the film. As a child of the 80's I cannot escape my love for nostalgia like that. Plus, I can't hate anything that has Bon Iver or M83 on it right now.
