Just received my Hammer House of Horror repro script.

(For 'Mark of Satan' - which is quite appropriate since it was apparently filmed in my local hospital, and possibly in a library about half a mile from where I'm sitting.)

Credit to Network, after the frustration of the sale itself (which was partly annoying because what transpired was so predictable) in my case at least they've done the work to put it right.

I got my order (including great deals); they've refunded my double payment as promised; and they've followed up with this script - which tbh I had no expectation of still being available when I placed my order.

Wait, do you still get the script when ordering Hammer House of Horror? I ordered it in the sale but haven't received it yet.

Yes i received mine today in the post, also got 'The Mark of Satan' - it was a lovely touch from Network, unexpected on my part as i thought these were only available years ago if you pre-ordered the set, despite it being plastered all over the website you would receive a script sent separately from your main order!

I think we all got follow-up dispatch emails after our disc order had been received (referencing same order number). I did, anyway.

So you may still receive something?

Network are releasing ABC's 1961 series Journey of a Lifetime, restored from colour 35mm prints, about a young couple's trip around Israel and Jordan.

I've only ever seen one episode (of 39 x 15m) and it was a dreamy, charming little film.

Another bunch of Network nothing titles, when will they begin to release more of those 70's Film Sitcoms, it's been a good few years since, The Likey Lads, Love Thy Neighbour, Man About the House were released, I had such high hopes back then that more would follow.

It's the same with the 'Carry On's.

A question from a different forum -- has anyone here confirmed the Region Status (B locked or not) of The Story of Gilbert and Sullivan

I know a good % of Network is locked, but it's never been 100%

I didn't even receive the blu-rays I ordered yet, so I very well might. I placed 2 orders (one of which contained Hammer House of Horror) and I got 2 dispatch notifications for each order, but I assumed that was due to the problem with orders being dispatched twice. But maybe one of them was for the script. Anyway, time will tell what I receive. Thanks for your answer!

I was already jealous of the fact that you're in Dunfermline and I want to move there.

Now I've gone off you completely.

I'm still optimistic that once everyone at DHL is done watching all the titles in my order, they will be delivered.

I think we should give Network some credit here some of the British films and TV series they have released on Blu have been quite niche, and is good to see long may it continue

I've found recent titles like League of Gentlemen and What a Crazy World work with the top menu trick.

Speaking of What a Crazy World starring Joe Brown, I wonder when or if we will see Three Hats for Lisa getting a Blu-ray release, who wouldn't want to see (and hear) Sid James the song and dance man?
